Arent SQs too hard to acquire in this game for F2P?

Yeah the rates are pretty low. That said it's all dependant on your luck, and I'll agree with you that not getting what you wanted is a huge turn-off (also 2 Edisons oof).

The main justification for the low rates and amount of free SQ is the fact that powercreep isn't really a problem in this game since it is single-player, and even low rarity servants can clear a lot of the content with enough investment. Basically, this game has low rates for good servants because they aren't necessary to actually progress in the game.

When I was new, I got lucky with nero bride, then went MONTHS before getting another 5* servant and was kind of bummed about it I broke my F2P rule for the GSSR roll, only to get Mordred (class I didn't need the power in, useless overcharge effect on np, etc).

Now I actually don't care too much about getting more 5* servants. There are so many amazing 4* servants that are much easier to summon, are cheaper to invest in (mat, exp, and qp), you can field more of them at a time with 5* event CE's, and are sometimes even more powerful.

I actually don't pull out nero bride much anymore unless it's a lancer only boss fight because I have so much more fun fielding saberlot for a st np.

I have 5 5*s now... But might end up burning Arjuna if something in the rare mp shop really temps me because I just haven't needed him since I've had a leveled up Emiya for ages to deal with my AoE archer needs. (after I burn all those stupid Fion's of course)

SQ do have waves of feast and famine. Singularities, 50*n total logins bonus, and commemorative gifts are sq feasts. Famine is when you only have master missions and daily logins for sq because you already cleaned out singularity free quests, interludes, and don't have any servants close to bond level up.

I always thought that the amount of saint quartz we got was okay but the rate of getting a 5 star was a bit low. I can still usually get the servants I want after saving for a few months though (f2p)

As F2P i actually am okay with the amaunt of SQs given.

I like to think that those servants i get just come because they liked me and want to be summoned. So when i dont grt someone i want i get really bad,but even happier when they come home.

From this perspective i think you should give more value for those who came for your summons and those who you got more then one copy because they really like you(Like my zerklot NP3. I will even graail him just cuse of it)

Well, I broke also the F2P rule and invested in JAlter. I think it is quite difficult to get servants above 3 stars as a F2P. Also the SQ droprate for NA is too low for my taste. I started last month playing the japanese Version and I'm getting swamped with SQ. I spend there around 50 SQ at the beginning and am now again at 101 SQ. And I still play as a F2P in Japan....
