as I watched Grand Order related stuff on Youtube, I came some "Free Unlimited SaintQuartz" videos across. I surely saw, that those were tied to Abonnements where you have to insert your phone number. However, they showed in the video that it worked perfectly afterwards.
My question here is: Is it even possible to successfully edit the Grand Order Database and add SaintQuartz to your account?
From my perspective it is impossible, due to the fact that I know how things should work in these Databases.
But I'm interested in your point of view and if you could give me a better understanding about the functionality.
For the record, I work at an IT department and do have to work with Database Server sometimes.

Technically you can if you can hack into FGO's server. But you know, it is definitely not approved, or even legal. The videos you mentioned sound incredibly shady. I am unaware of any technique that needs your phone number to work. Since you work in IT, you should know that typical techniques like SQL injections have nothing to do with it.
Simple, even if that video had a content like that. The true purpose is to get as much viewer as possible this means he/she can get more bucks from google.
It can be the video is truly happened before or it has been edited.
This one is contradictive, check this out :
*He/she has been recharging Quartz for the time being to that acc.
*Or some generous man giving money to another acc of him/her.
*Worst he/she just testing illegal program to get those massive Quartz.
*He/she is a Moby Dick (whale among whale) and disguise the infinite free Quartz for people as a medium to advertise his/her channel. You can't count a Moby Dick total quartz spended (almost infinite Quartz in their acc always available).
*Positive one maybe someone with a Grandmaster skill of video editing (beyond master) and also using premium editing App designed by his colleague, group, or made by him/herself.
Well, there's a lot of probability. Honestly i don't know, my mentioned comment above is just some speculation.
Most of those video are fake. It could be a trap that give your phone a virus, or steal your phone number.
Yeah, don't do it. While it is theoretically possible to hack the game etc, if you get caught, the best case scenario is your account is permanently shut down. Also, that whole thing just screams "scam".

Sound like a scam, smells like a scam...that's a scam, bro.
Technically this game is indeed hackeable, there is a video in youtube of somebody using the disc one final boss of this game against the final boss of the CCC event...but getting quartz, since it's related with giving money, and an acess the server, that would call their attention much faster than just palette swapping Kiyohime's hair, for example.
Even if not a scam (likely is!), you can get your account banned. Or worse.
