Future Servants to Roll For

Title. I know to save for Merlin, as he is our lord, savior, and troll overlord and as a f2p player, I want to stockpile better than the measly 90 quartz I saved for Jalter (which worked out, but has caused RNG to actively sabotage me ever since). That being said, I can definitely budget for a few ten-spins over the months ahead and want to mini-whale for the paid quartz gacha during the anniversary event (for Four Horsemen, there are very few servants in that section that I can go wrong with), plus definitely blowing a ten spin on initial Camelot rate-up for backup waifus Saberlot and Ozzy. Are there any banners that you guys would recommend blowing a few spins on for 4* servants, craft essences, or on the off chance that I get another 5*?

Current 5* and 4*s for reference: Jalter, Waver, Orion, Rama, Lancer Liz, Heracles, Lalter, Rama, Atalante, D'Eon, and Edison.

Rama: So nice, he's worth mentioning twice.

Nothing immediately comes to mind, aside from the fact that a gold Rider and Assassin would probably be useful. If Drake or Jack pop up in a future banner (Rough estimate is November?) it might be worth a shot. Elsewise, you'll at least get Assassin Scath and Santa Alter if you make the events this year.

At the end of the day, it's ultimately about the characters you want, though, so really just take your pick of the servants coming out between now and Merlin.

My Rama is max ascension, working his way up to 80, suffice it to say I've got him covered. The mention of a gold Rider/Assassin is good, that's one area I agree I'm lacking and have mostly been covering with supports and Jalter's raw neutral damage, plus why I want to cover with Ozzy if I can get lucky and roll him.

Do you have any advice on rolling for the summer servants? I keep hearing really good things about Tamalancer, Archuria, and Kiyolancer, at least, and know that they're all limited, so any opinions on rolling for them?

And on top of that, any really good limited CEs I should be paying attention to?

Personally, I would go for the servants I like (Mostly the alter Artorias).

Gameplay wise, I would go for the servants that can add another dimension that I lack for now like a ST Caster (besides Medea), a ST Rider (Not a big fan of Ushi), an AoE assassin (Maybe Shouten)...

Salter is a long term goal of mine, but other than her, Jalter, and Merlin, not many characters stood out to me on the "roll for love" category. I'd like to get Lancelot (both forms) at some point, but while I'd love to get his saber form when he comes out, I'm patient enough that I don't generally plan around rolling for 4 stars outside banners and prioritize banners where I have very few bad options.

As you may have figured out from above, I lack options for Riders and Assassins in general, so my current plan is to patch those with Jalter in the general case, hopefully roll a lucky Oz, nab Fuuma from Onigashima, and then wait and pray for Memelin. Any other advice you'd give?

There's nothing honestly, the game is self sufficient enough to be beaten by 3*s, you basically roll what you want.

You got JAlter and Waver already, both arguably the best on what they do, you can go Buster Crit and wait for Merlin or, as i said roll your waifu, because there's should be enough people that roll for him, you have easier time using him as support

Thank you for the advice, this is something that I've been picking up on over the past few weeks (after finally getting the mats I needed to ascend my asshole servants in the Da Vinci event) but haven't seen put into words. My biggest issue is that I've rolled my waifu already and keep hearing about events like Rashomon and Nerofest, which makes me paranoid about my ability to get through some of the more difficult content between now and Salomon, so I'm crunched on both rolling for power and rolling for interest. Plus I'm working hard to maintain the self discipline not to roll on too many events before Merlin. So maybe I'll just blow a roll or two on Camelot and call it good.
