How good is Heracles?

I got him in the 3M campaign and leveled him up to 80 with max fous. However I feel like he doesn't deal a lot of damage and dies instantly. Do I need a specific setup to make him powerful or am I just bad?

Yeah I feel like he's over rated too but Hercules shines as a "last man standing", putting him in the very last slot of your formation with his max bond CE (guts x3). I don't have his max bond CE but I got a taste of his potential using the Necromancy CE and it's pretty powerful, brave chaining and reviving back every turn for a clutch clear.

His bond 10 craft essence makes him one of the best units in the game because he just doesn't die. Without it he's still good, he's got the highest attack of any 4* berserker and above-average durability, he's just not mind-blowingly amazing like he is with it.

It's literal mistake to use him at frontline, unless you don't have other options. He is the best in solo situations, where you can abuse the hell out of his BBB while not dying at the process. Though, you need his bond CE, but Necromeme works.

Call it a "bug" or what you want but a servant with Guts activated can die only once per turn. Meaning that if Heracles is the last standing Servant with his Bond CE (Guts x3), the enemy deals a deadly blow from his first move, his turn ends after the Guts, even if he can move 3 times.

If you add Heracles' Skills to the table (Evade and Guts), he can last 5 turns or more.

That's not how that works. A servant with guts can die more than once in a turn BUT enemy A.I. looks for a new target before guts activates so if they're the last one standing and die the enemy decides there are no valid targets before guts triggers so the turn ends.

This is also why the turn ends when a servant with taunt dies. The enemy can only target them but they're already dead.
