From what I'm seeing on cirnopedia, you get one from the story and then 12 from the various party quests that pop over the course of the event.

Question about the Nerofest guide
So, it mentions that you should spend all of you apples because you'll get a lot back for Halloween, but it doesn't mention how many you'll get.
Does anybody know how many?
