Spoilers: Question about Babylon plot

SPOILERS

Why couldn’t Caster Gil use Ea in the Babylon chapter? I do remember something about him giving away some of his treasures to the people, but I can’t imagine that he would’ve had a reason to give away Ea since no one else could use it anyways. Was there another reason he didn’t use Ea during the singularity (like against some of the bosses or to protect his people)

Also, why did Tiamat let us kill her “brain” when we first met her? The story said she restricted her own arms and legs and didn’t attack us on purpose.

Tiamat is not worthy... Mongrel.
I'm not certain, but it is an antiworld NP, it has destroyed reality marbles (see fate zero) and supposedly could have destroyed the planet (read fate strange fake, that's all I'm going to say regarding fate strange fake). I never saw fate stay night, I did see ubw and zero and as far as I remember, he never used it in the world and if he has, there was a counter.
My answer is basically if he uses it, it's probably going to end the earth and therefore, humanity, I will assume he never lost hope of a different resolution? I don't know if he can restrict the power and strength of Ea.

I’m not sure if he can’t control Enuma Elish but he has been shown to limit the power of Ea (he used Ea to destroy the grail hands when the grail hands tried to grab him as a replacement for Shinji in Fate UBW before Shirou used UBW). He also does use Enuma Elish in the real world in FSN

First, before Grand Assassin King Hassan put '' the Concept of death '' on Tiamat, she can't be killed.
Second, Gilgamesh Caster don't have Gate of Babylon and can't take out Enuma Elish.
Third, Even if Gilgamesh use Enuma Elish full power on Tiamat, Tiamat will resurrect herself or even the worst, she take no damage at all a.k.a no scratch.
Fourth, Tiamat is so strong they need to combine power to kill her and even Enkidu Enuma Elish can't harm her ( Gilgamesh vs Enkidu fight in their past days resulting in a technical draw, both are losing ).
Fifth, it takes Merlin ( Grand Caster equal ), Ereshkigal ( Goddess of Death ), Ishtar ( Goddess of War ), King Hassan ( Grand Assassin ), Jaguar Warrior ( Goddess of Combat and Death ), Quetzalcoatl ( Goddess of Sun ), Ritsuka Fujimaru/Gudako and Mash, Gorgon ( Snake Goddess ), and Gilgamesh the King of Hero himself to defeat Tiamat.
Tiamat even can kill Merlin that stay at the end of world a.k.a Avalon, this is mentioned from Merlin himself.
Tiamat can kill a divine being effortlessly.

She tank so many powerful NPs from lots of servants with incredible power, so if Gilgamesh using Enuma Elish before King Hassan planted the Concept of death on Tiamat, it would be pointless.

It's not like Tiamat ''is not worthy'' or anything like that, simply because she's too strong.

Tiamat let us attack '' her brain '' because she has another priority, that's is to end Uruk Civilization and make a new world.
Make a new world = Tiamat auto-win, we auto-lose.

For the memes, here it is :

Tiamat : yo MC, i don't give a shit to a small fry like you.
Gudako Ritsuka : okay, gather some of our strongest unit and gangbang her with all of our strength.
Never underestimate your opponent, a word for Tiamat.

After Enkidu died, Gilgamesh sealed EA in his treasury. That's why Caster Gil can't use EA, or won't. If i recall correctly, it's because he doesn't want to use the weapon made by the same gods that killed his best friend.

Only Archer Gil can because it's him before Enkidu's death.

And as for Tiamat, maybe because everytime we kill her, her form grew stronger. I think this is where her "immortality" works.

We kill her brain, she grew into a giant humanoid monster. We send her to the Underworld so that Ereshkigal could kill her, she turned into a total beast. This stopped after King Hassan stripped her "immortality".

If I'm not mistaken, he sealed all his treasures/weapons he used as the King of Heroes when he became the Wise King.

Tiamat actually didn't want to fight. She restrained herself with her skill Self-Sealing (w/c was pretty much killing herself slowly btw) and was just gonna stay in that sea if we didn't kill Femme Fatalle.

Since we 'killed' the brain, it's instincts took over and it began rampaging.

Edit: Also, Cas!Gil is the real deal in Babylon (not a Servant). So it could've also been a mana issue since he was supplying his own magical energy for the Dingirs and multiple other Servants. The Archer!Gil we see in the underworld was his spirit in his prime (after Enkidu's death/in search of the herb of immortality in the Abyss) so it'd make sense he could use Ea then.

Masaki here puts it best. Caster Gil expended most of his mana in summoning the Servants he did in the first place. However, one point of correction: the Servants cut off that connection and got magical power on their own from eating and sleeping so as to let Gilgamesh recover. Still, he presumably doesn't recover to his complete strength over the course of the story.

When he was using his own magical power to fire off the Dingirs at Tiamat in the end, he said he'd be able to fire them all off remotely if he 'worked this body to death'. Granted, Ea would be much stronger than the Dingirs, but that connects to the point of Gilgamesh having earlier exhausted all of his magical power. If it was already his limit to fire off the Dingirs, then perhaps he would have been unable to unleash Ea. Manifesting as a rogue Servant in the Underworld would pretty much act as a "refresh" for his state, then.

Ah thanks for the explanation. It makes more sense now. Was it ever explained why Tiamat didn’t want to fight in the Femme Fetale form?
