As far as I know there’s no point of doing the 3bp over the 2bp unless you can do at least 50% more damage to the 6mil boss.

Stall team for onigashima?
I can stall out the hardest difficulty for the raids reasonably easily, but I don't do much damage and can't kill anything past the 2BP raids. Is there any benefit to stalling out the 3bp raids? The dmg points only seem to count for what I hit and not what I stall.

If you have euryale 60+ just go for hans tamamo support, can stall easily and do 5-6m damage
2 charms 2 vampirism and tamamo spamming np to reduce skill cds, half the turns the boss does nothing

I easily clear 3bp with this: Try 2x Euryale both with Sumo CE and A high damager to kill Tamamo easily, in my case Herc also with Sumo CE and using Blue bean.
At first wave, I'll always charge up Np so I can spam really hard till the boss dies.

It's much better to kill Tamamo when the blue Oni is low HP. Tamamo's hit count is high and therefore gives a lot of NP gauge to any targets she hits (sometimes up to 20% per attack). Plus, she's not affected by the arts resistance buff, so you can charge much faster on her with your own arts cards.
Commonly you unload your basic attacks on Tamamo and NPs with Euryale on the Blue Oni.
Finally, it's easier to run with one Euryale and support her with Servants like Hans, Waver, Mozart or Tamamo. You will be safer while also doing more damage and having access to more arts card chains.

Just go for damage, you'll still get DP, items, etc. even if your party is dead.
