So started this game late April and upon looking at future releases, promised to save all the quartz I got for Merlin. Fast forward to the start of summer and I have 420 (hehe) quartz. Now, a mere 2 weeks later (probably not even idk I didn't check the dates), I only have 198 quartz left. Jalter's right around the corner and I wanted to roll for her but the disappointment I have for myself in retrospect is very real

And we have another victim of gacha madness in gacha hell. Summer does strange things to people due to the heat waves. I don't know how that affects people but it just netted me A third sid meier, a third blonde trap and none of what I want when I should be saving for Jalter...seriously. Good for you you still I have quartz while I have none...
Yeah those damn heat waves! They feel unusually cold. Maybe it's cos it's Winter down here, but the effect must be the same ;)

For me summer's turning to rain. Hopefully I pull a summer servant I just a single 10 roll that I'm going to buy. I'm betting all my luck for that. I could honestly buy more books and games yet there goes all the money...

Real talk though, don't spend more than what you need for that 10 roll, or at least not more than you can afford. I recently read this comment on reddit made by a guy who basically spent all his savings on quartz trying to roll for Jalter and didn't get her and my heart broke :(

Yup I know. I always keep in mind that what I'm doing is near gambling, so this probably the last one before I save for Jalter and then just focus on getting the servants I want while waiting for reruns.
I felt like I'm the only one who has more self-restraint. Good thing, I'm not interested in the summer servant.
To be fair, I hadn't spent any quartz at all until summer. Once I started I couldn't stop. This is why I don't go near cigarettes, alcohol or casinos lol.
I'm also infected with gacha madness. My plan was only spend 50 tickets on this banner. But the heat wave got to me not only give I spent 50 tickets but I also rolled 240sq and didn't even get a 5*.

That sucks i was planning so spend a lot to get 5 star Altria but i luckily got her on my 8th summoning ticket .

Well on the bright side, people have been saying that we get 200+ more quartz from now until the end of the year. Hopefully your luck balances out by then.
...No Gacha madness for me cause I dead inside when rolling. I pretty much go " Why do I bother?" Which is why I ignored most of the banners, and not interested in them. That is the F2p life for me...I hate having to roll in event banner, cause there too many back to back events.
I feel. I’ve got nothing saved up right now. As it stands, I’m gonna save every quartz and summon ticket I get from now until Merlin time. I might have to skip Altria Archer but it’ll be fine

I'll probably be hoarding tickets for Jalter and spend them all + 1 or 2 10-rolls if necessary, then not roll again until Merlin. Hurts to miss out on Ishtar, Jack and Tamamo, but sacrifices must be made.
For real. I like my base Altria far more than her alternates. She’s a classic. The only reason I want Archuria is because I need a strong ST archer (made evident by the Camelot chapter jeeeez)
I mighttt stop to get Ishtar along the way though so who knows haha
Summer Banners are rough. It’s super fun-oriented so you kinda forget the dangers of over-rolling. After it’s done, you find your quartz running low and you’re not quite sure why you rolled so hard in the first place
Yeah. I feel like if I don't roll any quartz it's super to pass on banners, but when I start to roll it really is hard to stop.
It’s the rush. And every time you’re even moderately lucky in one, it kind of propels you into the next.
I made that mistake right after the Shuten/Sanzang/Raikou events I mentioned before while I was still high on my luck. I felt lucky so I pooled all of the quartz I got from Camelot and pulled x10.
Nothing but 3 stars and CEs. That’s the risk you take but god if it doesn’t feel like getting curbstomped
Yeah you're right, that was literally me earlier today. Pulled Caster Marie and Ruler Martha, so I decided to roll another 10 for Arturia. Nothing but 3 stars and CEs too. Absolutely crushing. On the positive note, it does kill any motivation I have to roll again, epecially after I saw my quartz pool dipped below 200, so there's that!
Right! Haha At the very least, bad rolls serve as a deterrent force from casually rolling from your reserves and it really makes you focus on the servants that are important to you.
Considering my luck with single ticket pulls, I’m gonna use those on the Merlin banner first before unloading heavy quartz
Yeah, seems my luck with tickets is better than with quartz so far. My first 2 10 rolls were great, but the rest, not so much.
