I'm currently trying to level rama and tamamo (both level and skill level) but I'm lacking the hearts, caster gem, and QP. What's the next event suitable to farm those items? Who should I roll for in the future? Do I really need merlin? I'd rather save up for merlin. Which servant should I focus my resources on?
U have a wide variety of servants who fits a lot of roles, but i would recommend for u to roll on a buster critical servant, like ishtar before babilonia or maybe musashi at early january (my personal opinion, u dont need to follow cause u have a lot of good servants, just choose a playstyle and invest on it)
yeah, buster crit servants sound great, sadly I don't have any 2030 on my arsenal, so I'll have to field Jack for consistent star. Not the most ideal kind team combination, since I recently got lucky with tamamo. I'm leaning towards rolling for arts servant. Your thoughts about it?
Looks like you lack an SSR archer, and as far as those go, Altria archer is just about the best one (arts based). She will be available in the Summer rerun next year.
Merlin is a great all-rounder, lots of people seem to think that he can only support buster, this is not true. He can support anything, just as well as, and in many cases better than, Waver because his support arsenal is so varied. He can also provide stars passively btw, even if not enough to crit consistently, so even without 2030, with Merlin buster crit is very viable.
As far as DPS goes, Gilgamesh is one of the best. He gets a rate-up during new year. His hit counts are crazy high and after it gets strengthened his NP is one of the best in the game making him a top pick for both boss-killing and farming. Waver would be plenty enough for support, but with Merlin he is on another level.
It also seems like you lack arts Sabers. Lancelot is a top choice for this, and will be available in the upcoming round table knights rate-up banner. Yagyu Munenori and Nero bride are also excellent options, available next year.
You also seem a bit lacking in the rider department. Ozymandias is imo indisputably the best one from a gameplay perspective, but I don't know when his next rate-up will be. Quetzalcoatl is another good one whose banner is coming with Babylonia chapter release. Rider Mordred is also a good arts rider, though she's AOE and her damage is on the lower end. Her main draw is her ability to spam her NP better than almost any other servant with the right setup. She will also be available in the summer rerun next year.
well, I am planning to roll the archer guaranteed gacha (hopefully DW will do the class based guaranteed). But yea, Gil and Merlin it is for the rest of the year. Thank you
