Boss Analysis

  • The most lethal part of Goddess Rhongomyniad’s kit is by far her NP, which pierces through Invulnerability and Evasion buffs, and deals heavy damage to all team members. While Sabers may be able to survive the hit, it will take out a chunk of their HP pool.
  • While Defense buffs do reduce her NP damage, her Charisma buff means that you would need a higher defense buff percentage for it to be significant. Guts is a plausible defensive alternative as well.
  • Her normal attacks hit for around 2,000 for Arts and Quick cards, and around 3,500 for Buster cards. While it will hit harder against Archers and Berserkers, Saber-class Servants can take the damage without much worry thanks to their class advantage.
  • Regardless, stacking Defense buffs, attack downs and NP damage down can reduce her NP damage to manageable numbers.
  • Make sure to time defensive buffs such that they are active when she activates her NP, rather than her basic attacks. Her NP is is the most lethal part of her kit>
  • The Goddess’s NP charge skill may be used at any time - this may cause her NP to go off sooner than expected.
  • Her NP charging skill also removes any debuffs currently affecting her, which can make it harder for debuff-heavy teams.
  • She will always prioritize her NP, meaning that there is little worry of Mana Burst-infused NPs.
  • Goddess Rhongomyniad has a multitude of traits, making it rather easy to find a counter to her.

Team Composition Recommendations

  • Most of the player’s team composition should consist of Sabers. Single-target Servants (Okita, Lancelot(Saber)), or those with supereffective modifiers against one of her many traits(Mordred, Siegfried), should be prioritized.
  • Berserker-class Servants are also an alternative, though their lower durability may pose a problem. They are liable to perish on any of her NPs
  • A couple of supports should be included, to increase the damage dealers’ effectiveness and/or help them survive the Goddess’s NP better. Mash's kit is particularly well suited to this encounter and the combination of her NP and her first skill can more than half the damage of the Goddess's NP.
  • Due to Rhongomyniad’s Invulnerability Pierce, more defensive Mystic Codes are not recommended. Aggressive options such as the Chaldea Combat Uniform, Mage Association Uniform and Anniversary Blonde should be used instead.
