Maybe this is a dumb question, but thanks to Breakbar Alter here and her "No Casters allowed!" rule, I feel like I need to ask. Do all Break Bar enemies focus Caster's, or is this just part of the challenge quest, and Saber Alter just has a murder boner for Casters?
(Do you think she'll relax if I just give her some of the chocolate from the Valentines event? Edit: No. The answer was no. She was not hungry for chocolate)
Nah this is just Saber Alter. That's not to say that no future enemies will ever target a specific class, but in this case, prioritizing casters is a feature unique to Saber Alter and will not be shared among all break bar enemies.

It's just another gimmick but one you can actually use to your advantage. I had only casters (and mash) in my party aside from my main dmg dealer (altria archer) and it went really well. Tamamo pairs up great with her and is also a very tough to kill caster at the same time. There are actually quite a few others that would work well in that regard from what I read, and of course Mash is great to have around to keep your main dmg dealer safe from an NP or two while also giving your party great mitigation and helping keep the caster smashing to a minimum. So don't think casters are off limits in this fight :)
I tried a few different things, the thing that worked best was to turtle with Mash, Tamamo, and Waver. No one got hurt outside of Excalibur Morgan. We lived happily, until somehow the cooldowns got thrown so out of whack, and I died. I was forced to decide "Revive the turtle, or make these 32 turns a waste." I'll give you a guess which I chose. Wish I'd thought of using swimsuit artoria, I may not have come out of this a broken man with 4 less Quartz, and PTSD over the word Turtle.
Wow. Here I was thinking she was just mad about Caster Cu and his Wicker Man. That though...Well, that makes much more sense.
