Hi! So, after posting my first question about the suggested banner, many of you told me to pick the summer one, the Merlin one, or the CCC one.
I lack of many servants, I need an archer, a good support (i have the FP ones), an assassin and a rider and maybe a lancher (still have jeanne alter lily).
As a f2p (except for gssr) player, I won't be able to save for both of the banners.
I need help to plan. I was wondering about summer+merlin (3 months between would be enough to save a little amount of quartz and I'll be able to try some rolls on the merlin banner) or CCC+merlin.
I was also considering the summer artoria rider + merlin
First of all, CCC, Salter rider and Archuria is a pretty bad match with Merlin. You'd normally pair Skadi, Skadi and Tamamo respectively with these.
Well, I'd recommend Archuria+Tamamo if you are f2p because Skadi comes in a year and is limited (Merlin too) while you can get Tamamo anytime and there're many rates up for her. The two can clear pretty much everything with a Waver/Mash paired up.
Oh do take note that at the end of the day, just follow your heart (or d*ck) for whoever you want to summon. My opinion is gameplay wise only. Clearing quests without Servants you absolutely love can be quite boring.
well, there are 4 main servants I would like to have just because I like them: artoria archer, Ishtar, artoria rider and Ereshkigal. I guess I'll roll for artoria archer (the banner includes also Martha ruler) then I'll go for Tamamo. I'll use all the remain few quartz on the banners featuring Ereshkigal or Ishtar and hope to be lucky since the luck is not my best quality (spent all my 500 sq in the merlin banner and found nothing, my only 5* is jeanne from gssr)
Well, if you don't have a Tamamo, I don't think Merlin's all that bad a match, just not the best. I personally like having a team with a healer, so I usually run with him always. And that did well for the Valentine Royal/Sweet clears (ran with a 2nd AoE damage dealer as well).
And even though Tamamo might be available a lot (and I intend to focus on getting her), it's still a crap shoot for a F2P. Might get her in 1 pull, might not get her with 600 SQ...
