Hi, was wondering if using some tickets on the Tamamo-no-mae rate up pre CCC is a good idea or not. This servant is in my plan list, but the main focus is on Archer Artoria.
If they follow the JP schedule, Tamamo no Mae is also supposed to have a solo rate up on the New Year 2020 banner.
If you don’t think you will have enough sq for Sqirtoria if you roll in the CCC, you could just hold off on Tamamo till new year. That will give you about 5 months to save up after the summer event.
I'd suggest focusing Squirtoria, Tamas are everywhere in support lists and unless you wanna go double Tama memes then just 1 will suffice.
Can always throw 1 ticket at Tama though cuz ya never know.
Personally, my strategy is the opposite. I'd *much* rather have Tamamo myself, so I can pick and choose whatever servants others have picked up. And sometimes those are at NP > 1, with 10/10/10 skills. Having your own supports, I've learned since I got Merlin and Waver (in the GSSR) really opens up the field. (Though even previously, I generally used Hans + Mash to do the same because others DPS servants were way better than mine most of the time.)
Tamamo is not limited or story locked, she could spook you anytime, including the rolling for Archuria.
Save for Archuria, you can save for Tamamo new rate up in early January 2020.
Generally rolling for supports is better than rolling for a DPS, but Archuria is super rare and Tamamo...isn’t.
Archuria will be back next summer too, but that’s probably too long of a wait.
I have a few on my friends list, and I imagine might have more after the rerun. I still think it's better to have your own supports, even though Squirtoria is really good. With the meta change due to break bars, I imagine there'll be many instances where you'll want to do an Arts team, and with your own Tamamo, you can go out window shopping.
