Can someone explain the requirement to complete BB's event. On reddit it is said that you must 100% complete the event before you can actually obtain this welfare servant with lv 5 NP. However, I wanted to know if their is a more detail guide and an estimate how many golden apples will be used as I have only 118 now.

Somehow, I think you'll be okay. Events can usually be cleared with natural AP, and if they can't, they typically provide you with a few extra apples.

And yes, the event must be cleared to get BB. That's pretty standard for the big events. Fate/Zero Accel was the same, even though its difficulty was far less.

I don't know for how long you're playing fgo, but it's similar to Garden of Sinners and Fate/Zero Event regarding the missions.
If you 1) don't plan on completing the event in one go and 2) don't take 2-3 tries to win every battle, you should be just fine even without that many apples.
I only start playing FGO after the 5th singularity was released so I missed a lot of events. I would just do the login bonuses but actually playing was very little since was busy. Thanks everyone for the info
