Hi, i just started my account in May when the Bully banana event is on going. After that i really try to catch up with materials a lot but still lack of consistency when farming. Like in this summer event, i throw about 20 apples and 40 sq just to farm 30 snake eyes.I dont know that if in the upcoming events is there any good farming spots for me to spam sq to farm ? I need heart, paper, chain, void dust, bone and dragon tooth and lots of qp atm.
Just ask the other players here, but I heard the upcoming Nero fest event after the Prisma illya gives rare mats for each roll since it's a lottery and people are saving their apples for it. You shouldn't have used them and just waited since farming the events for mats rather than buying them is somewhat inefficient when there's events like this.
I'll fill you in later after searching around, but I heard the nero fest event gives hearts for quests.
Idk if you are genuinely farming for the materials or if you are farming currency to buy the materials. If you're farming mats, I would say don't. Maybe farm the nodes that drop mats you want while farming currency, but I wouldn't set out to deliberately farm materials, especially during events.
The drop rate for all materials in this game is abysmal, it gets a lot better during events but I still wouldn't call it good. My advice is to be patient wand wait for events where you can buy the materials and farm exp in the meantime rather than spending AP on drops that are nowhere close to guaranteed.
As for QP, just do the 40AP QP daily quests. Pretty much the best place to farm them.
The exception to this would be the hearts of demon God. Still don't spend apples but if you're done buying out the shop for summer event 2 it is actually worth it to farm the node that drops the gold ore and has the demon caster boss in it. Hearts are at a 20% droprate sure but because he's guaranteed to be there, the odds of getting one are far higher than normal times where you have to hope a demon appears in the caster daily and then hope he drops it
I general, you want to save your apples for the really lucrative events such as the Nero Fest lottery and the Christmas lottery. These events have no diminishing returns, so you can go completely nuts here.
Appling during any event is very powerful too but is conditional on 2 factors:
1. If you can still buy materials (not ascension tokens) from the shop, it is usually worth it to buy them all out. Spending a few apples to clear the shop is ideal.
2. Sometimes some events have extremely lucrative farming nodes. This isn't always the case, but for example a past event had Hearts of the Foreign God at a 40% (!) drop rate. These are good situations for appling too.
Finally, another ideal scenario is to use your apples during 1/2 AP celebrations. These events are very good investments and a great way to stock up on some much needed gems/experience/QP. Very rarely do we get 1/2 AP Free Quests, which can make bond points and certain materials an incredible AP/material too.
If none of the above is currently active, I would refrain from using apples, but sometimes you want to push through something. You have to have fun after all.
