Future Challenge quests

Can we expect most of the future challenge quests to be as hard as this one? or was this challenge quest only hard because we received it so early? and will the tierlist change because of breakbars??

I'm quite certain others will be as hard as this and some may be even harder. This one was actually quite easy, all things considered.

Easy? Salter? Not for someone who has an account that scares away all the support from coming home that could keep everyone alive. I haven't managed to break the second bar yet. At least tonight my CS's finish resetting so I might have a chance without using sq.

My sub acct finished that without anyone dying and CS still intact. My main did the same setup much faster, but with David instead of Tristan. So yeah, it's easy compared to future challenge quests.

Sorry, hope I didn't sound like I was bragging by calling Saber Alter 'easy'. But unfortunately, she really is easy.

But what I meant is that this challenge quest is still, unfortunately, considered easy compared to others in the future.

For example, Kiara Sessyoin during the SERAPH event is said to be one of the hardest of the upcoming challenge quests. She's also a Beast Class (Beast III to be exact). She's not strong against any class, not even Berserker if I remember right, but only Moon Cancer and Alter Ego deal increased damage. And at 120%, it's still lower than a Berserker's 150% to most classes.

The Rashomon Event rerun's challenge quest will have us fighting an Invincible Berserker Ibaraki who cannot be killed (or even hurt I think) until the FOURTEEN mobs with her are killed. And the mobs are two of each class. The mobs are the two giant hands that we fight during the event raid itself.

There's also the standard Nero Fest challenge quests, which are gimmicky but also more challenging than other challenge quests. And now we also have the break bars to worry about.

So... Yeah. I'd consider Saber Alter easy compared to future ones. I even finished her off a second time with Euryale (7/7/7 skills), Mash, and a Support Tamamo. No deaths, no CS.

Uuugh, if I can't even get past salter... I'm not going to be able to fair any better in the future challenge quests.

Just wait until the Battle in New York Exhibition Quests. I think you're going to have trauma going in challenge quests after that one. It makes Gawain look like just a regular hard-boiled egg. I didn't even finish half of it.

I'm actually looking forward to those. I always enjoy the challenge quests since it forces me to think creatively and to use Servants that I rarely touch.

Yeah, those are the quests that even having double merlin wouldn't give you an easy win.

I much prefer those. Nothing against Merlin, but he makes most things way too easy. I refuse to use him for challenge quests or even boss fights just out of principle XD.

I think we got this challenge quest earlier than JP did so in that sense it was harder but I hope future challenge quests are more challenging.

This quest was harder than it was in JP because JP had access to a lot more servants/strengthenings than we do.

For example, Jeanne after her interlude can cheese this quest since she removes debuffs instead of stunning herself.

But as far as challenge quests go, this is definitely on the easier side of the spectrum.

The Kiara quest is bad. She deals 1.5x to calvary classes and Rulers so you'll be better off running knights and Mash instead of support casters. But you have plenty of time to prepare for her, so don't stress about that right now. :)

Kiara deals 150% to Cavalry? I know that applies to her Alter Ego class, but doesn't the challenge quest feature her as a Beast Class similar to Tiamat?

This is correct. Alter Ego Kiara deals additional damage to cavalry but Beast III does not.

This quest was pretty easy all in all. You know what she is going to do, so you can play around it. She just attacks the casters so keep them alive and dps her down.
