45 SSRs at 0.7% solo rate up odds assuming average luck of about 100 rolls per servant gives us 3 quartz x 100 = 300 quartz per servant, 300 quartz * 45 servants = 13,500 quartz needed / 167 quartz per bundle * 79.99 dollars per bundle gives us $6,466.

As for Tamamo's bond CE it needs 1,640,000 bond points, best bond farming node gives 48.95 bond points per AP and you get 288 AP per day free x 16 days Tamamo has been available gives 4608 AP x 225561 bond points for free.

1640000 - 225561 = 1414439 remaining bond xp needed, about 50 cents per quartz at the 79.99 bundle and one quartz give 138 AP thus 138 * 48.95 gives us 6755 bond xp per quartz and 1414439/6755 = 209.4 thus 210 quartz needed and thus 2 79.99 bundles.

Thus assuming I did all my math correctly the approximate cost is $6,626.

Eh given the large number of SSRs you're rolling odds are it will end up averaging out thus making luck less a factor than you would normally expect.

I’m more worried about how much crystalized lore he has left.

How does someone get bond 10 CE that fast o_o

Who is not? I use heracles a lot with the Bond Exp +50. He's still a few levels before Bond 9 and I got him months before the banner. And yet... Does he even sleep? 😯

Unless they just spend quartz to refill their AP like crazy and spend most of each day playing. Crazy stuff.

Legit can just spam the QP treasure vault 40AP mission with two aoe np riders with MLB kaleidoscopes and a waver. Takes 3 minutes per run including load times. Gives 615 bond points. It would still take like a day or three but if you keep buying quartz and doing that on repeat it goes fast. Could do a higher level quest too for 800-900 bond points but those can't be completed in 3-4 turns most of the time. Usually they take 5-6

With the level of whaling seen here he can 100% 3 turn clear Milenial Kingdom the best bond xp farming location - I can do it even at much much lower whale levels.

WSJ actually did a story on him because it is insane but I mean if you have the cash and like the Nasuverse better than expensive cars or parties why not

I saw an interview with that guy where he said that he doesn't want to think about the amount he spent, and that he plays it obsessively, even when he eats. Honestly, I understand that splashing around excess cash is a thing, but I get the sense that the game has actually taken over his life. Pretty sad really, and that's the darker side of the mobile gaming industry. Also, I'm not sure he was actually a broker, I think he just liquidated a bunch of his own holdings.

True they didn't really say what he did but I assumed he was a broker as it's the only profession I can think of where you can acquire enough assets quickly enough to the point where you can liquidate them that soon. Either that or he was a software engineer

Yeah idk what he does. From what I saw, it looked like he was unemployed. He still lived with his parents, and said he'd saved up a good amount of money from when he "did stocks and stuff" (no joke that's pretty much how he phrased it).

That's where I got that from yea. And sad thing is it's entirely possible to do that. Simple fact is you can be the dumbest guy on Earth and still buy a ticket and win the lottery. I wouldn't spend 70k (I wouldn't spend 1k really...) mostly cause it takes the fun out of the gameplay. But he ain't me and it is his life *shrug*

Yeah same. I don't think I'd feel any satisfaction from whaling since I'd feel like I "cheated" lol. Nothing against whales of course, just wouldn't ever be one myself.

Jeez. That’s...hardcore. Like luck isn’t even a factor. It’s ungodly amounts of cash and sheer will power. This person eats, sleeps, drinks, and practically breathes FGO.

I’m not saying spending that much or rolling that hard is right, but I get it tho. All too well.....Just damn.

More than $10000 was spent on that account. Remember that you are only seeing ten of that person's servants. Pay attention during next event when they get swapped out.

One of my friends has an NP5 Scathatch at lv100. I am forever grateful to him for letting me borrow the ultimate heart piercer for tough quests. That was very expensive.

Although, you can get lucky...
When I was F2P I rolled:
Iskander NP2, Raikou, Ozymandias, along with various limited event 4-stars like Ibaraki, Emiya Assassin, Astolfo, and Li Shuven.

When I spent $320 starting with guaranteed SSR gacha, I got:
Jack, Summer Tama NP3, Squirtoria NP2, Martha NP2, Marie, Mordred, Altria Pendragon Saber (which totally confused me), Nitrocris, Carmilla, Beowulf, and Lancelot.
I didn't get Kiyohime or Anne Mary probably because Tama got jealous, but I am not obsessed. ;)
I am, however, going to get Shuten and Merlin.

When someone sees my NP3 Tama and NP2 Squirtoria, they will likely think I spent more than this. I consider that pretty lucky. By they way, $320 is about a day's work.

If you want more friends with high level characters, grind the friend points gacha and limit break event CEs. I accepted two friend requests from such people when I did that on the first day of the event. That was before I rolled on any banners.
