Rate up is a lie

If it makes you feel better, I blew 400+ SQ rolling for Cu alter yesterday with no success. Rate up felt like a lie to me too, I'm still wallowing in my salt lol.

Well, you know, the rate up doesn't mean that if you roll an SSR servant (or SR servant), you have one hundred percent to have it.
It's just mean that you have very high probability to roll this servant but you can roll another (I roll during the Scathach banner and i have Waver instead ^^").

If you get another servant instead of the rate up servant, it means that you are really lucky (or unlucky, depending of your point of view but i prefer to be positive !) ^^.

Feels bad that you didn't get what you were rolling for, but if it makes you feel any better, Orion is actually a really good servant.

As others said, an SSR is still an SSR at least. I feel your pain, I rolled for Illya on during her event and I did get a SSR Caster and it was Sanzang. On the flip side I also really love Sanzang especially after Camelot, but I really wanted Illya since she's the limited servant and I wanted to complete the family with Emiya, Dad Emiya, Iri, Chloe & Herc. But at the end of the day it's better than getting nothing, especially if the something is an SSR too.

I got spooked on this one too, but it was by the best pirate, so I ain't even gonna complain.

Dude, I spent 150 SQ to get either Lancelot, Tristan or Bedivere. I got NP 3 Nitocris and not a single KoTR. Not even 3* Bedivere.

1200 SQ blown on Illya banner; 3 SSR but no Illya.

I just roll 4-5 4/5 star CE's each roll >_> All i'm missing is a rider and a Ruler/Avenger.

I feel bad for getting two Lancelots on my first two summons, then a nitocris, then a kaleidoscope on 2 summon tickets and 6 quartz...

If this makes anyone feel better I rolled for Artoria archer using 330 SQ. The best I got was 1 kaleidoscope which I already have another one, 4 star Medusa and Heracles. My friend on the other hand rolled 5 times with tickets and got Martha Ruler. You have no idea how salty I am i legit want to die

Want prove that rate up is a lie? Whaled really hard for MHX to no avail. Got 3 5* instead, costed me 1850sq! Isn't she supposed to be 100x more likely to show up (.8% instead of .008%)? Don't know if I'll even bother with skadi next month.
