As far as Craft Essences go, I’ve never had a clear idea on what’s great and what isn’t, other than obviously amazing CEs like Kaleidoscope and Golden Sumo. The only CE tier list I can find hasn’t been updated since Onigashima, and only looks at 5 Stars. Does anyone have any recommendations?
A lot of it depends on the servant you put them on and the challenge you're facing. Other notable ones I've seen:
-Devilish Boudivista
-Holy Night Supper
-Black Grail
-Fragment of 2030
-Volumen Hydrargyrum
-Prisma Cosmos
The usefulness of many CEs will depend on if you need to bring down a standard boss, a break bar boss, or if you're just farming. But these CEs have a wide range of utility and are incredibly helpful.
I’ve got the Kiara one and a copy of Prisma Cosmos. The other ones look really good, too. What about lower rarity CEs, though? The only 3-Star CE I use often is a MLB Dragon Meridian. Am I missing out on any hidden gems?
Back in time when cost was a thing i often used jeweled sword zelretch and Ryudoji temple.
Battle of Camlann is good if you use taunting characters, to let them charge your party's NP when they die.
The thing is that there really aren't any lower rarity CEs that don't basically have a better 5 star version. There are some that can help towards specific strategies but none that really put a team over the top.
4-star:
Knight's Dignity and Gem Magecraft: Antumbra for crit teams.
Be Elegant
Iron Will Training
Necromancy - Though dubiously chance-based, this CE can actually be very helpful for tanks such as Georgios or Leonidas.
3-Star:
Battle of Camlann and Dragon's Meridian are really the only notable ones so far. Everything else is just sort of "nice to have" but doesn't really make or break strategies, or they have a 4-star version that does the same thing but better.
