Save for Merlin or Summon for Jalter?

If you're going for pure efficiency of number of SSRs to number of teams you can run go for Merlin as if you can pull Merlin, Waver, and Tamamo then with just those 3 SSRs you can make about 90% of teams in the game just filling in the DPS slot with a support, and of course from a power level perspective Merlin is miles ahead of Jalter so if thats what you're after the choice is clear. Of course it ultimately just comes down to who you like more since you're the one who will be using them in the end.

Both Jalter and Merlin will be all over everyone’s friends support list, so I’d say just go for the one you like better. Merlin will always be the more useful of course. But Merlin isn’t too far off, probably sometime in December, and if your only holding 100 SQs as of now, I’d definitely save for only the one you want most. Unless of course your P2P then you don’t have to worry about the restrictions on Quartz quite so much. I definitely love my Jalter, but I personally would prefer to have Merlin. He just has SO many uses and does them all so well. Hard to beat him.

Here's some things to consider:
- you already have a strong dps, if hans is your best support, Merlin would benefit you more.

-I'm sure you don't need to be told this, but since it's relevant, Merlin is OP support. The only unit to be considered truly game breaking. His sustainned support in long matches is probably the best (outside of specific team comps ie Tamamo).

- Merlin is in December so you have time to save.

- All that said, the coming Jalter rate up will be the last one for a while, after this she will only be available in paid gachas for at least a year and a half if I remember correctly.

Personally I would say roll a bit (maybe tickets + 1 or 2 10 rolls) for Jalter and save the rest for Merlin.
