New Tier List Placements

5 Star Servants

Tier A

Sessyoin Kiara's summer form is an AoE Arts Moon Cancer Servant, complete with the ability to loop her NP effectively as well as a special Skill Rank Up ability on her first skill. With her first skill, she can increase the effectiveness of her second and third skills, which enhance NP Gauge for herself, number of Stars gained, and the severity of the DEF, Arts Resist Down, and Crit Rate Down debuffs she inflicts. In addition, she has a party Evade, self Guts, the ability to clear her own debuffs, HP regeneration, and a modest NP strength self buff. Her NP itself has the special ability to do more damage the more Mental Debuffs the enemy has, and her 3rd skill gives a few stacks depending on its rank when used. Her NP also can inflict instant death, thankfully occurring after damage so NP refund will still be available. Overall, she has an immense package of abilities that she brings to the table. Although she may not always be the best offensive pick due to Moon Cancer class advantage being rare (only against Avengers / Berserkers), with Arts support she functions well enough as an all-around farmer.

Tier D

Abigail Williams's summer incarnation is an AoE Buster Foreigner, similar to her original self with the exception of her original being ST. Her kit contains an introduction to an interesting new Sleep mechanic, which functions effectively as a 1-hit Stun that has a DEF debuff for the first hit only. She also comes with an extremely handy 50% NP Gauge charge, and another set of DEF debuffs and Buster Resist debuffs to further bolster her offensive power. However, these debuffs tend to only be applicable to a single wave due to cooldowns, which makes her very much a one-shot character with non-trivial downtime. This is further compounded by her Buster-centric card distribution, which leaves relatively sparse opportunities for card-based NP Gain. She does bring utility to the party by providing a delayed stun mental debuff (via the Terror status effect), although this is also somewhat unreliable even at maximum level. Her NP Also provides a helpful effect of removing defensive buffs from enemies before damage, and the sleep skill can also remove all buffs from a single selected enemy. Her kit can come in handy for some fights that are gimmicky, although in most cases there are far more effective options from lower cost Servants for both lockdown as well as buff removal, especially provided her relatively poor performance outside of the single wave that receives her debuffs and sustains the brunt of her NP. Masters who invest in her are cautioned not to be overly optimistic about her performance, although she will usually still be able to grant at least one enemy wave with a visit to the land of dreams.

Tier B

Illya's Archer form is a primarily offense oriented Quick AoE Servant, complete with the ability to loop (although with some difficulty). Her NP gains a Sure Hit effect before damage, as well as rainbow Quick/Arts/Buster buffs. Her skill kit has Quick, Crit damage, Quick card star gather, and trait-based (Child Servant) ATK buffs as far as offense goes. Defensively, she has a 1-time Invincibility and a chance-based HP regeneration. Additionally, she has a small NP Gauge charge and a self NP Gain buff, along with a 3% NP gauge per turn passive, which all help support her looping capacity. She's relatively straight forward as a Quick damage dealer, and although her looping capacity isn't quite as consistent as other Quick AoE Archers, she will easily clean up any Saber waves that come her way.

Illyasviel von Einzbern (Archer): x -> B (Avg Score: 7.93) - [NorseFTX - B][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C][Meliran - A-][Rathilal - B]

Tier C+

Brynhild dons a swimsuit, and with the assistance of her love, Sigurd, wields a daunting blade as an AoE Buster Berserker Servant. Her NP is notable for ignoring Invincible/Evade effects before dealing damage, and also gives her a small Buster buff before damage. She comes with an NP-per-turn skill, which gives her easier access to her NP (albeit slightly delayed), and also gains a sum of stars each turn, although she has no reliable way to gather the stars herself. She also can buff herself and "Loved One" allies' Arts and Buster performance, which is a relatively common trait among Male Servants. To help offset her fragility, she also has a 2-time Evade skill that comes with a Damage Cut effect. Overall, she is a solid entry to the AoE Buster roster, with the Ignore Invincible effect on her NP coming in handy for some quests. She does suffer slightly from her innate class fragility, which is slightly compounded by her relatively low HP pool, despite her evade skill. However, she will clear waves effectively, especially with support from allies.

Brynhild (Berserker): x -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.47) - [NorseFTX - B-][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - C+][Meliran - C][Rathilal - C+]

Tier A+

Yu Mei-ren, welfare of the Summer 2022 event, is an ST Quick Lancer that acts as a certified male Servant killer. Her NP gains bonus damage against male targets, which stacks multiplicatively with the various offensive buffs and class advantage. She also has a self Quick buff and powerful party Critical Strength buff, the ability to charge 20% NP gauge, and minor NP Gain buffs that increase in potency on certain fields (either near water or sunlight). Her one means of survival is her Guts skill, which somewhat clashes with the taunt effect on her NP charge skill; she may need defensive support to stay for prolonged periods on the field. However, with her damage multipliers and her welfare status giving her easier access to NP5, she is an excellent damage dealer to keep handy, especially if a male Archer needs to be dispatched.

Yu Mei-ren (Lancer): x -> A+ (Avg Score: 9.2)```[NorseFTX - A][TrubotheDwarf - A+][WhiteRabbit - A][Meliran - EX-][Rathilal - A]```

Tier B

The Archer of Inferno is no longer an Archer this Summer, instead dual wielding B**t S*b*r paraphernalia as an AoE Arts Saber. Her NP buffs her own Arts/Buster performance before dealing damage to all enemies, while also inflicting Burn and her signature Spreading Fire debuff that boosts burn damage, enabling her to participate in rather niche burn stacking setups. Her kit is mostly self-focused offensive buffs, providing herself with Arts and Critical Damage buffs, increased Star Gather on her Arts Cards, and a generous capacity to create Stars on demand, and a smaller amount per turn. Her primarily survival option is a 1 time 3 turn Guts. She also comes with a 1 time Debuff Immune skill, which can either help with offsetting undesirable debuffs from enemies, or to mitigate the delayed self Stun on her Guts skill. Her Arts buffs and hitcounts are sufficient for her to loop her NP with proper support (and can even do it herself if she can get off an NPAA chain with crits enabled by her kit and a few overkill hits) , making her a great option against Lancer waves if she can be properly supported.

Archer of Inferno (Saber): x -> B (Avg Score: 8.07) - [NorseFTX - B][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Meliran - B+][Rathilal - B]

Tier B+

Murasaki Shikibu, famed writer and resident horror movie afficionado during the Servant Summer Camp event, is an ST Arts Rider with a variety of utility debuffs and the ability to loop her NP relatively comfortably. Her Arts NP decreases Arts Resist for the NP after damage, and can also decrease NP Gauge for the target, although the NP drain effect is unreliable so it is more of a nice-to-have than a deciding factor. She also provides utility in the form of single target NP and Skill Seal effects, which are enabled by her Debuff Resist debuffs. Offensively, she has DEF and Arts Resist down debuffs. She can also gain up to 20% NP Gauge per turn across three turns, which also comes with a minor infusion of Critical Stars, further bolstering her looping capability. Her damage is somewhat on the mediocre side, although her ability to loop enables her to take advantage of the Arts Resist debuffs that her NP can progressively stack, giving her strong damage over turns with the ability to sometimes stall NPs from bosses via her NP drain effect. As an aside, for those who have the Servant Coins to access her Append Skills, Shikibu's Rider version has a rare advantage against Alter Egos, which can also come in handy given it is relatively rare.

Murasaki Shikibu (Rider): x -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.2) - [NorseFTX - B][TrubotheDwarf - B][WhiteRabbit - B][Meliran - A][Rathilal - B]

Tier C > C+

Sigurd's latest NP Upgrade brings him the standard +200% to single target Buster NPs, which is a highly welcome boost to his damage. The damage boost alone was generally agreed to be worth a small tier bump, although his NP also did gain the ability to drain 1 NP bar from the targeted enemy, which can come in handy to stall out an enemy's NP. It is worth noting that Sigurd will be receiving another upgrade to his second skill, which will be discussed at a later time.
