Is it possible to complete the week 1 event walkthrough without apples?

The week's almost up and I am at step 68. You'd need 360 AP to complete this step, which would take more than 3 days worth of charging. I've also already used some silver apples, and I'm wondering whether this guide requires golden apples apples to be used in order to be completed by the end of week 1? Or have I done something wrong?

I’m not sure honestly. The guide seems extremely efficient and it appears to be very thorough but the event requires heavy grinding and not even the guide can fully predict RNG so there’ll always be inconsistencies

But I’m not really the best to say- seeing as I skipped the guide and lunged in without planning. But I feel like it should be possible at the very least

I figured it should be doable in one week too. Tbh I'm just kinda paranoid that I fudged one of the steps, like completed a free quest a few times too many or something.

I feel you. The amount of time you have to do everything is the biggest challenge. I burned through my apples to ensure I wouldn’t leave anything undone it makes the final stretch somewhat harder in general but it is what it is.
The enemy-related missions are somewhat easier to predict as they’re almost always a set amount per quest. It’s the drop-related missions that make this harder thanks to farming absorbing th bulk of your AP when not clearing raids

You get 1 ap every 5 minutes.

some basic arithmetic:
(360ap)*(5min/ap) = 1800min = 1.25 days

I'm not following the guide so I can't say what it takes to complete the whole thing, but you're pretty grossly wrong about how long it takes to get ap.

Woooow my bad lol. Didn't bother to actually calculate it, just went off the fact that my AP refills to about 90 - 100 while I sleep, just assumed then that would be >3 nights without realising it refills during the day too :|

Still tho, seems to me like you can't complete it in one week without using at least a few apples, idk

Unless he can't play when the bar refills because the bar is still small or can only play at one time of day...
Would be nice if there was no cap on AP accrual.

Right. It’s a shame that the only way your AP bar can overcharge is through apples/quartz refills. It’s been a minute since my last level-up; do level-ups even overcharge like apples?

You need 1920 AP to complete all the steps of the first week of the guide. You gain 288 AP per day (12 AP per hour * 24 hours). That means that you would need 6.7 days to complete that part of the guide, without apples. If I'm not mistaken, we only get 5 days between when the event started until the second part opens. If that is accurate, then the answer to your question is "no, you can't complete the first part of the guide before the second part of the event starts, without apples".

But that's only if you are insistent on clearing that part of the guide before the second part of the event opens up. I don't think that there is a rule that says that you can't finish the first part of the guide after the second part of the event starts. The last part of the guide only requires 920 AP, so it will only require 3.2 days to finish. That being the case, you should have time to finish everything before the event is over, as long as you don't let your AP stay full for an extended period of time. But if you want to do a bunch of farming to clear the shop, you're probably going to need to be willing to part with some apples.
