So I somehow managed to roll a Salter, Nero and Mordred and in terms of Np damage with full skills upgraded and all the interlude available in the NA server, which is the best???
Note that all the servant at Np lv 1 cause I am not a whale and not plan to do so:))
In terms of pure NP damage, Salter probably is the best due to 450% NP rate, charisma, and mana buster. But I would advice to level up Modred. She has better stats and the NP charge is super useful. IMO, Modred is the best AOE saber in NA right now.
Mordred and Salter are about the same in terms of damage, except that Mordred has self debuff cleanse and NP charge.
Nero is a bit different. With a triple guts skill, she's really more of a survivalist than anything else so she's hard to compare to the other two. As such, she makes for a pretty good last stand servant not unlike Cu or Herc.
I much prefer salter to Mordred myself. Mordred's oc effect is useless imo and power not as strong as salter. Plus salter is cheaper, so more powerful CE's can be fielded.
Mordred is better if you only care about damage.
For comparison :
- vs general Zerker/Lancer, Mordred = Salter.
- vs Artoria species/some Dragon, Mordred >> Salter.
- survivability, Mordred > Salter.
Mordred also have a battery skill and that's nice.
Nero is different, she's a last woman standing basically a Saber Heracles.
Again, for comparison :
- vs general Zerker/Lancer enemies, Mordred & Salter > Nero.
- vs Artoria/some dragon, Mordred >> Salter & Nero.
- survivability, Nero >>> Mordred > Salter.
- solo, harder content and challenges, Nero >>> Mordred > Salter.
I compare things based by gameplay and as you can see there, Mordred is better than Nero and Salter in terms of damage.
Gameplay wise, the strongest Saber right now is Altera.

For the gold saber I have lvl 90 NP 2 Siegfried, lvl 90 NP 1 OG Artoria, lvl 80 NP 3 Saber Lily, lvl 80 NP 1 Saber Alter, lvl 92 NP 2 OG Nero and lvl 80 NP 1 Gawain.

Mordred. Best AOE Saber we have at the moment.
Her Mana Burst caps out at 50% and Secret of Pedigree has some amazing value (debuff clear, def buff, 30% np charge) on a 6-turn cooldown. Her NP doesnt do as much damage as Salter’s but she’s way more flexible.
Nero is a cool unit—and Arts AOE on not a caster is pretty rare—but she’s more like Cú or Marie...plays like a cockroach but has little to no offensive presence.
That said, eventually Morded will reach Bond 10 and you’ll want to rotate farmers, so raise everyone!
