Same here bro, I spent all my 300 sq and only got Beowulf so I am quite pissed, some guy pulled him on his 1st ticket, haha that really is EX luck there.

Put Artoria only in your displaying party, with battle of Camlann CE, play Merlin Summon BGM, keep shouting MARLIN while summoning. Basically just have to forfeit your dignity & sanity to survive in this gacha hell.

It all comes down to luck, but I have my own so-called lucky time. If I don't get the desired servant within 150 quartz, I'll try again tomorrow at the same time. It kinda helps since the hype for my desired servants somehow diminishes, thus it saves me quartz once I decided to stop at the first day of rolling.

This is just how gacha works, friend. Yeah it sucks, but don't fall into the trap.

Personally I don't like how Merlin skews the meta so badly, nor do I like his character so I didn't spend much quartz on him.

Just did all single rolls. Did the “FP trick” as well to “help” roll him. From what I have experienced, doing all single rolls is better than multi.

I spent 210 sq. My first roll gave me Helena which I like a lot but wasn't expected. Then the next rolls were shit, only some 4* CEs not worthy. Then at 6th roll I got Enkidu. I was worried because in Rashomon I got 2 SSR but no Shuten. But Merlin came at 7th roll.

I've joined the single rolls only club. I took the 33 SQ from completing Babylonia and maintenance and said "screw it."

24 SQ spent, but I got Merlin. I did similar rolls for Ishtar and got her as well. There's likely no difference, but I just feel better making single rolls.

I spent all 510 SQ I saved up and didn't get him or any 5* servant for that matter.

Was feeling very unhappy and starting using my tickets and got Merlin within 10 tickets.

Now bullying Barbatos.

With the 30SQ for finishing Babylonia I got: Merlin, Carmilla, Prisma Cosmos CE and Art of Death CE. By far the luckiest 1st attempt at a banner.

1st 10-roll. No luck on the Devilish overcharge CE, however. Did get Caster Gil on that banner earlier on first roll.

90 Quartz, used in three 10-rolls.

It's not quite as good as it sounds. I previously spent tickets and quartz on both my NA and JP accounts, and I'd spent about 240-ish worth of quartz (tickets counting for 3 SQ) since my last 5-star servant, so I'm actually batting pretty close to the 1% average. Only getting 1 gold servant for that much quartz is pretty rough, though, and I've had patches like that. Here's hoping your luck turns around soon!

I bought him with more money than anything in this game is worth. Don't feel too bad. I actually had some pretty good luck in this game before, but ever since I started whaling my luck's gone downhill and it's probably more than evened out to the 1% rate at this point considering how many bare-minimum multis I got.

I had like 2 Quartz before Maintenance and; I collected all presents and rolled a ticket, 2 singles (paid for one to get them exact) and the 10-roll. At the last card of the 10-roll I got golden sparks, a golden Caster card... just for it to be Nitocris >.< That was 1am today.

A few hours ago, both Nursery Rhyme and JAlter Lancer leveled up bond so I got 4 Quartz. Pulled it without thinking it much and there was the Meme Wizard.
(Now I'm 80M QP poorer, but way worth it)

Took me 800 quartz and 14 tickets to get 1 copy. I also got 6 4* servants including a Caster Gil spook and 18 5* CEs so not too bad. Probably should have at least 1 more 5* servant with that amount tho but its all good.

I just... forgot about him because I needed to spend the AP that collected overnight ASAP so I read the prologue, finished the first pillar, then went to kick some Barbatos backside, then remembered to roll the banner, pushed the 10-roll button, got a couple of useless 3* servants and CEs, pushed the 10-roll button again, got distracted by some Ichiban Kuji stuff, woke my phone screen some 20 mins later and almost dropped my jaw when I saw Merlin there :'D Guess he got annoyed for being ignored and came to say it to my face xD

... or maybe it's my compensation for spending all that quartz and tickets for Gil and only getting my third copy of Nitocris *zetsubo*
