Tips on Using Jalter

So on my free daily ticket I managed to summoned jalter which i guess is the game's way of paying me back for 500quartz on nero banner for just og nero LUL. As excited as I am now, pulling her gives me many questions as to how i should use her on my team.
My gold servants are archuria, tamacaster, illya, jalter (obv) , og nero, kuro, liz, trapstolfo and herc.
I mainly use an arts team of archuria tamacaster and support waver but with an amazing buster dps now i can look towards a buster team as well. Any tips on how to use her would be appreciated.

Well actually her usage is somehow simple: pour critical damage to enemy boss. Or lets say Buster Critical is in fact easy to realize and use than Art team.
A common team is Jalter + dual caster supports. Jalter with any critical-up CE (or Buster-up if your Jalter's NP>=3) and 2*2030 are most used CE for supports.
If you do not have Waver recently, use friend's 2030 Waver and raise Hans, or roll for Merlin is good way for boosting the Jalter's critical damage. Anniversery Blonde is one most famous CE for Buster Critical, which is top-class for Buster Critical team thus far. COmbat suit is also decent if you have sub member with appropriate CE and supportive skills for Jalter.

some personal suggestions

(1) 1st skill is most important. 1>=3>2. In other word, Critical damage is her major source of damage, so make sure enough stars. Therefore, 2nd DPS (with star weight of >= lancers' 90) is not really recommended for her, since her star weight is low even though you activated her 1st skill, still roughly ~261 which is just slightly higher than riders. Only some decent Assassins could be as exception, like Jack.

(2) It is not bad idea to make Jalter as support for dragon-trait DPS, such as Archuria. But normally it is not a necessary. Liz even works better.

(3) Some supports with constant star generation are also welcome, such as Helena

(4) No class-advantage is double-edge sword for her. For specific class boss-fight, Jalter's performance may not be paired as Gil, Musashi, LArtoria Alter, etc. But so far, you dont have such servants, so Jalter is the best and most universal. Roll for Merlin is important.

Also why Merlin is important for Jalter?
It is simple. Merlin's 2nd skill save ass, and NP cover Jalter in any aspect (NP gain, Star, HP recover)
Let along Merlin's 3rd skill
Jalter's one drawback is her hp is in fact a SR level, her durability is lower than caster supports (in most cases, since SSR casters always have huge amount of hp)
Then not like Waver, 2030 Merlin is Broken in this case. Dual 4060 Merlin= WTF?
Hans is also top-class support for Jalter as low-star choice.

Off course other support are also great for Jalter's busting critical damage.

Well i was hesitating on merlin because i didn't have the buster dps for merlin to break for me but now that i do im rolling for caster gil to break my arts team setup some more and memelin for general use/buster memes. Unfortunately I'm blessed in servants but not in ce's. No kscopes, formal craft (and quick/buster variants) no 2030, not even a dang imaginary element for some boost to farming. Is hans worth it at 1/1/1 because I don't even have archuria/tamacaster which i focuses on skilling first up to 6/6/6 much less expensive jalter and/or other casters like hans and memelin/castergil (hopefully).

I am not selling Merlin, but Merlin is also very compatible in Art team. 4060 Merlin+Tamamo = Undef-eatable Art team. Trust me.

If you want good CEs, next year's CCC event will have excellent CEs and servants. Like 2030

Sometimes Ware-fare SSR CE also great. LIke last Nerofest's CE is excellent for Jalter.

If you make your mind for rolling MErlin, hans may not necessary in order to save gems. Nightingale+JAlter+ Friend's 2030 Waver is enough to kill almost every boss, at least until next year.

First off, holy crap that's a long post and I don't want to think about how long you took to write that all lol.
From what I gather, your suggesting for team comps to use a support waver with 2030 which makes sense, and then to either pair it with like hans to improve the amount of stars she gets to smash around or pair it with archuria who can benefit from the double attack boost while using jalter for those lancer fights archuria struggles on. Correct?

When using Archuria, the problem is star weight issue. Same as Drake as another person posted. Indeed, they have good star generation, but still not full enough star for Jalter. Using their Quick card for more stars? Then why not Assassins

Only when if you have >25 star in a specific turn, and Jalter activated her 1st skill as lv10, then she may have enough star to trigger Critical damage. But Hans is not a star generator (skill give ~9 stars per turn, slightly above 2030). Waver even less.

It is still related to star weight issue. I am ealiest player has Jalter in NA and almost get max bond. My experiences is not have Archer or Rider to team with Jalter, otherwise Jalter wont have enough star then her superiority will be reduced a lot. It is okay to have demi-supportive assassins rather than Archuria/Drake.

My experiences is enough star for Critical > Any other offensive buffs.

Of your current golds, Liz is the only one with real synergy. Jalter's Dragon Witch skill gives an extra attack boost to Liz because of her dragon trait, and if you do the current batch of rank up quests Liz will get an extra attack boost for female servants on her Charisma.
Jalter works best on teams that cater to her needs which are damage buffs, crit star generation, and healing if possible. An ideal setup would be a support that buffs her damage and a hybrid support/damage dealer that can generate stars, like Drake or Okita. A good budget support would be Hans.
And then, of course, there is the infamous Merlin who will be released relatively soon. He gives Jalter everything she needs to dish out tons of damage. There's a reason why Double Merlin + Jalter is known as the Buster Meme Team, as it trivializes a lot of content in the game for awhile.

For example :
F2P Jalter set up if you don't have 2030 CE any Crit star gain CE is enough.
Balanced team comps of a Tank, Supp and DPS.
Hans have big role here, Leo can be switched to friends Waver.
For fast burst damage, Anniversary Blonde is recommended.
3 Bond leecher servant on the back.
