Which servants do you dislike and why? And which servants do you like and why?

People tend to talk up Medea's worth because for a lot of people she is pretty much one of their first (and sometimes only) caster attackers, and for a servant that is available to all players, she isn't all that bad. Of course, most caster attackers are still better than her (her NP damage is actually really bad), but she still has her uses.

With Liz, I have no idea why but DW seems to have decided to make it an annual joke that she has a different costume each Halloween (it's stopped this year though, good for you lol).

I'm ambivalent about Vlad. He was one of my first SSRs and he's carried me through a lot. I actually have him at bond 10 cos I've used him so much. That said, without proper support he is really underwhelming, plus, his NP2 spooked me during the GSSR. Basically the only servant I didn't want and that's what I got.

Fion and Edison sure, I'd have to disagree on Anne & Mary though. They're actually pretty good when you look at their kit, they just get overlooked a lot cos it seems to a lot of people (myself included) they are just kinda boring. Although, I kinda like the fact that servants like Fion and Edison exist, just for the memes about how useless they are :')

Medb - eh. I like her enough, but I honestly couldn't tell you why lol

Karna - I like him too, and I want him. I already have Arjuna, and I want to unite them. And don't worry, he gets better after his interlude. In fact, in JP right now he's one of the best AOE lancers.

Kintoki rider - Pretty much. I never use him cos my favourite servant happens to be another rider that I have, but I maxed him anyway cos he's great.

Diarmuid is pretty unexciting, Iskandar is okay but the rider class happens to be over represented with really good servants so unfortunately he comes off looking a bit bland. Amakusa is really good though. He's not meant to be used for damage, more for clearing buffs. He's invaluable during some harder challenge quests and boss fights.

Why medea, why...
Personally, i like medea because the anime shows + her voice line.
My favourite servant was :
-nero bride/nero/nobugana : Umu/Umu/Washi ja
The voice line is really cute.
-chu/chu proto/caster : Evade boy
-Mashu : so far, i think her noble phantasm had a better animation other than any other servant in the game.
Actually i like most of all servant. But because some reason, i hate some servant because they are the villain in the story. Here is my list :
-Chu Alter : He killed nero bride in america singularity (i got nero bride from nero fest and after that playing in america singularity and found out that shes been killed by chu), killed geronimo+billy because he's thinking that he's the king, killed karna when he's in battle with arjuna, and more reason to hate him.
-Medb : because she's really annoying in america singularity + on illya event.

I really like servants have badass armor ( Lancer alter, Modred,.. anyone else ? ) Look so dope! I don’t particularly hate any Servant but it’s annoying to see too much fanservice on some servants

My biggest criteria is their voice actors. Which is why I love Medea and Medb. Medea still provides so much reliablility when I want to run a low cost arts team. Medb is voiced by Sakura Ayane, so there's that.
I like sakura saber for gameplay, only np2 ssr, and Yuuki aoi.
Brynhildr as she is my best lancer and she was drawn in a single ticket.
Shiki is mc of knk. Nuff said.
Lastly, i like the camelot ally servants and favorite mash.
I don't like Amakusa at all. Fate apocrypha was so bad, it made me think worse for most of the cast. Raikou is also just a terrible design.
Billy the kid. Kit is fine, but the voice does not fit at all.

Only character I really can't stand is medb. Though that's because to me she sounds like a squeak toy every time she gets hit.

Actually I have no ''Dislike'' Servant at all. I found Value in the servants you said You don't like.
1)Medea : Spammable NP with Buff removal. Unless Your main Dps unit is someone with Buff removal(like Ibaraki) She is useful. She is over rated yep. But there won't be Smoke without fire.
2)Lizs : The Halloween Idol is annoying to core yet all of her versions have good points again. Original Lancer : Female Buff is Good. Caster : The very first free 4 star assassin node farmer for players.Saber : Everything is good aside from her 3rd skill. Alter Ego : Most people's first Alter Ego and She do her job god damn well,nothing to dislike about her.Carmilla : If there is no Jack in fgo, She's probably my ''go for'' assassin.
3)Valad : He was highest damage berserker in release,Ofc ppls gonna Like him. If you hate him becos of personality,You liking Cu alter And Gil make you a masochist lol(jk).
4)Fionn has his uses. Edison. . .well not much gameplay wise.Anne & Bonny are useless ? That's BIG LOL.
5)Medb She is not good Gameplay wise but not terrible either. If you are taking in personal lores. Most of ''waifu'' are either dudes or Criminals and many despicaple women in lore LoL.
But it doesn't mean they all are OP . They have weaknesses which everybody have.

Now you fav Section.
1)Cu Lancer : OG Lancer from F/SN. Undying Lancer in F/GO.Has Epic background. Weakness? No damage.
2)Karna : What do you mean by he is weak gameplay wise?o.O
3)Scathach : I have her as well and I like her as well and Full max her and Like her lore becos of herself not becos of Cu. Weakness? Dodge and Crit overlapped + Crit is chance based. God killing is a bonus though.
4)Anderson : Good overall. Very good kits and NP. Weakness? Rarity.
5)King Hassan: Very Good. Death is just his bitch. Grand Assassin . Weakness : Pratically none but No stars despite class.
6)Kintoki Ruder : Yep best welfare Rider until Sakamoto come.And will still be eceb after him. Weakness? No support to team aside from stars which he hog them himself.
7) Gil : Ughh You said about real lores for Medb,Karna,Cu,Etc. . and now you don't really give a damn to Gilgamesh's real lore? He is a divine king indeed but not ''Kings of Heros''. Well anyway Gameplay wise he is a monster .Weakness? AoE archer is not really always ''wanted'' in my list.
8)Diarmurd,Alexender,Amakusa. . . .they all are good at what they do gameplay wise. Jist max them first and Run them with good supports. Even they can shine.
9)Heracles : A very solid berserker. good survivality. Monster with Bond CE.You said Medea is ocerrated,So is he. Weakness : No he can't dethrone Cu Alter nor Kintozerker gameplay wise even with Bond CE+Grails.

I don't dislike anybody particularly. If anything there's the zzz club with people like Gilles, Jing Khe, Geronimo, Opera, Benkei...it's not that i dislike him, they are just there.

On Vlad's defense, he was really brave and heroic when challenging the ottoman empire and most of his cruelty came from war. He's Muslim Slayer basically, he refused to bent the knee to the Sultan, the sultan sends a part of his army to outnumber Vlad's forces and make an example of him...but Vlad wins some battles with numerical disadvantage and ends up making an example of them instead by impaling them. He was also a cool-blooded king, he did stuffs so cruel that does a 180 backflip and becomes funny like the political measures he took to deal with extreme poverty...spoilers, he really wanted to terminate poverty.

probabily the only one i dont like is Gawein,
becouse he spooked me in my first account and in this one. and i will never level him (i actually burned him when i got my alter saber).
There are so many i love.
all F/SN original, except saber, but i like alter saber.
I love many servant, but my true and only waifu is Atalante (and , her alter version).

Dislike:
I have an irrational hatred of Arjuna. I was just starting out doing Journey to the west, and he and Karna wooped my ass so many times my kid was walking funny. I hate his arrogant pose, attitude and the fact he was a total prick to Karna. Also, after Camelot, Tristan and Gawain can just fuck right off. I actually have all three of them, and can’t bring myself to raise them, but I don’t have the balls to burn them.

Gameplay wise, I have struggled to use Assassins properly. I love most of their designs, but whenever I try to use pretty much anyone but Emya or Cleo, I feel like I am severely handy caping myself.

Likes:
Moma Raikou was my first SSR and has been there time and time again to help me make it through harder content. I wasn’t a big fan of her design at first, but she has won me over.

Cu, Archer Emya, Ushi and Herc have been mainstays in my teams since I started. Lancer Vlad is also a servant that surprised me. I love his style and animations, and his character is pretty solid too. He knows he is slowly going crazy and he can’t stop it. You also can’t forget Mash. At max level she is a broken support, and one of the best things about story chapters is getting to ascend her.

Medea is one of my favorite characters in the entire Fate franchise. I love her design, character, voice, and she was the first servant I took to 90 and the first after Mash to have her skills maxed. She’s cheap, has great utility, and can rip Assassins apart. In fact my favorite class is probably Caster overall. They are rarely the best choice to bring (unless for support) but they are very fun to use, and once you get them going, the NP spam is real.

Lastly Ruler Martha is a blast to use. She is tanky has heck, makes for a really good Crit servant, and if her buffs can be used, can rip shit apart.

The list of Servants I like could probably go on forever (or until I listed them all).
Jokes aside... There really are some that I really can't stand and that I would burn instantly. But also some, that I grew fond of after some time.

Dislikes/Hate:
1. Gaius Julius Caesar
There's really NOTHING at all, that I like about this Servant. His appearance is ugly, his voice hurts my ears, his personality is garbage.
I couldn't care less if he's a capable Servant when it comes to battles. How could I fight with a Servant that I have nothing but the utmost disgust.
Honestly, everytime he dares to appear in my Chaldea I burn him immedeatly. I'm really glad to have i.e. Saberlot, so I really don't need to rely on that bastard.

2. Fionn
It's not really hate or anything. Just happen to dislike him. It somehow annoys me that they had to make him so weak, even though he's ought to be an SR. It annoys me, because such a loser got to be 4 Stars while real heroes like Cu or (my opinion) Medusa are only 3 Stars. That's all there is to it.
Aside from those two... I don't think there are other Servants I don't like. Sure there are some I wouldn't consider that often in battles, but I like to fight with them all.

Like/Love:
1. Saber aka Arturia ...aka... Altria (thank you FGO NA)
You can call it fanboying if you want. I don't care. I just happen to really like Saber. Not only her Original form but every other form as well. You won't believe how happy I was after I finally got her... And after I got her Alter form. There's a lot I like about her, but the comment would get to long.

2. Nero
My liking for Nero really grew with the time.
I first got to know her in F/GO - 2nd Singularity. And I more or less... wasn't that impressed. She seemed naive and arrogant. I didn't really care much about her.
Then I got her aaaaaand... that didn't change much. I was happy about her but nothing more.
But after I had watched Fate/Extra: Last Encore I saw her in an altogether different light. She isn't dumb or anything. And she has such a great personality. And after clearing her interlude I really began to love her.
Plus, I was extremely excited when I got Nero Bride even though I wasn't rolling for her. Fate brought us togehter. 😂

3. Ozymandias
I don't have him. I don't even use him that much as support (more or less because I just don't need him). But he was without a doubt by far my favorite Character in Camelot. He's a really cool and strong guy. Would like to have him, but that's just some wish.

4. Atalante & Jack the Ripper
Atalante may not be the strongest Archer, while Jack is undoubtedly one of the best Assassins.
It may be because of Apocrypha, but those two fight as one in my Chaldea. They're both great for me and I'm so, so happy to even have them both. It took me a while to get Atalante (got her during latest Jalter banner). But since then I got her already NP4.
Also, Jack was my very first SSR Servant. But by then I didn't know how much of a luck I had. It was only after months that I realized... That it's not really that easy to get an SSR... and such a strong one at that.
So yeah. Those two are by far one of my favorites.

Soooo... That was long enough.
There are a lot of other Servants that I really like and love to fight with. But as said above: I could talk about that forever. So I'll stop now.

Ozzy. i hate him so much. his damage is nothing, he always dying, and his laugh is the most annoying thing i hear during play. Good that riders have only value as farm subjects
the only two chars that i do like are Medea and Medusa

Dislike:
Medb - It's irrational but I just never like her personality or character and she's not very good as a rider either.

Liz - I honestly feel like DW is trying to make Liz happen. "DW, stop trying to make Liz happen."

Like:
Gawain - He's always been my favorite knight since way before I even heard of Fate. I just really like how his most consistent quality in every iteration of the Arthurian Legend is his unwavering loyalty to Arthur. Whether he is portrayed as a perfect white knight or a womanizer or an older mentor-figure or an arrogant asshole, the one quality that is always in the legends across generations is his loyalty. That is pretty cool to me. I'm glad to have him grailed up on my team.

Hans - I just love how he's this little kid with a grown ass man's voice, he uses a tablet, has this lab coat that is too big for him, and on top of that he's very direct and slightly anti-social. His personality and overall look is just really fun and likable. I'm strongly considering grailing him.

Iskandar - He's my king. My favorite character from Fate Zero. That's all that needs to be said.

Arjuna - There are very few South Asian characters in this game so I was immediately inclined to like Arjuna since I was familiar with him. Like when my relatives have no idea what I'm doing on my phone all day and I tell them, "It's a game where I recruit characters from myth and history to fight monsters," they don't really get it. Then I'm like, "Look, Arjun is in this game." And they immediately get it because they know who Arjun(a) is. Also, I honestly like that he actually looks relatively like a South Asian/Indian dude. Karna and Rama look so anime stylized that they don't look the part anymore.

Gilgamesh - I honestly like his personality and his relationships with some of the other characters. And I also like him because his story was one of the stories I was familiar with prior to Fate.

Sherlock Holmes / Moriarty - I love the books and the character.

Ryogi Shiki / Asagami Fujino - I am a huge Garden of Sinners fan.

I do agree with you in many points XD, especially with Elizabeth (she's just too much) and Medb(I don't know why,I just don't like her at all). There's also kiyohime(not too much hate).About the characters I like the most there's definitely Karna(such a good guy),Cu(he is cool) and Waver(saved as many asses as there are stars up in the sky)

As far as dislikes, I'm really not a fan of:

1) Blackbeard. He's not funny, he's not all that great, and frankly, I'm disgusted by him every time they fit him into a story. I was so glad he "died" early in the summer event.

2) Mephistopheles. He's annoying and I burn him every time he appears. He feels more like a second rate Kefka than an interesting servant to use.

3) Alter forms. I'm going to catch a lot of flak for this but I'm generally not a fan of the character designs for the alter forms (Altria alter being the only one I'm OK with). I know they're really popular and for many people are their favorites but I'm actually not a fan of Jalter or Lancer alter or many of the others.

Now for the likes:

1) Emiya. Yeah, I'm and UBW fan and I like having a servant with a bit of everything. He's pulled it out of the fire for me on multiple occasions and I'm so glad I got him. His skill strengthening has made him even better but frankly, I still liked him even when his kit wasn't as good. Emiya playing at each NP never gets old for me.

2) Altria. As above. Yeah, she's not all that great among other 5 stars, but I still have the utmost respect for her character and I hope I can get her at the next summoning banner. I have a friend who grailed her and I always use her if I can.

3) Hektor. He's very basic but I like his voice actor, his humbleness, and really, just his whole deal. I'd have to have my favorite character from the Iliad and I've actually double grailed him.

4) Georgios. Let's just say I don't call myself Guardianknight for nothing.

So yeah, weird, I know, but here I am!

The only one I really fucking hate is Mash, I would burn her if I could and while I like Arturia and Mordred, in general I'm not a fan of all the generic genderbent bitchsluts, especially the ones that get wanked to hell and back like Nero and Drake.

Servants I really like include: Jeanne Alter, Gil (all versions), Cu (all versions), King Hassan, Iskandar and EMIYA.

Dislikes:
Vlad, the bit about him seeing his master as a subordinate. Just rubs me the wrong way. I didn't particularly like his character in apocrypha either. I haven't burned him because he was my first 5* and the part of my brain that requires I catch em all.

Arjuna is one I dont have but go out of my way to not use. Too Micheal Jackson for me the way he stands and his clothes.

Tristan was a disappointment for me. I was excited to try to get a 4 star version of David. (I have a thing about archers actually using a bow) So I was happy to try for an actual Archer. Then I saw his battle animations, and his emo dialog. I dont like it. I'm glad he never showed up in any of my summons.

In general the young girl characters in revealing clothing.

Likes: Fate Zero and UBW are the reason I started playing this game. So obviously Arturia, Emiya, Cu, Diarmuid, Herc, Broskander, etc. Are all favourites. I actually used money on the guaranteed gotcha for Arturia. Got her and Salter. The surprise ones for me that I didn't find till I started playing were;
Saberlot. I didn't roll for him during his banner. Didn't think I'd want him. Already had 3 gold sabers. Then I played Camelot, and really liked his story arc. I thought I'd missed my chance to get him. One day during a random roll on a ticket. He showed up.

Hans. It took me awhile to find my love for him. Mainly because it took forever to get him to NP5. He just wouldn't drop. Now I'm trying to decide if and how much I should grail him.

Tawara Touta. An archer who actually uses a bow. His story was good in Camelot. And I laugh everytime he throws a giant basket of rice at someone's face.

Santa Alter. Mainly because like Touta. I find it amusing when she beats people up with a sack of presents. And the humming of jingle bells on the NP.
Finally Mash, after Camelot she's a beast. I love the new NP animation. And her skills maxed keep even the most fragile berserker alive.

Idk why, but I really hate all versions of Artoria other than Lancer and Archer. They all just really annoy me whenever I see them. I also hate any Jeanne Alters and Medbs just for existing.

As for likes, Nightingale, Ozy, and Cu. Nightingale was my first 5* that helped me through everything and I like her personality for some reason. And for Ozy and Cu, I like them for the sake of being good and reliable husbandos.
