Craft Essence Recommendation
- Kaleidoscope / Imaginery Element / Halloween Princess: Considering you will most likely be using Eric Bloodaxe as a farming machine, there are no other stats that he will appreciate more than Starting NP bar
- Limited Zero Over / Verdant Sound of Destruction: If the team has a way to give Bloodaxe starting NP gain (like Zhuge Liang or Mashu) and if he can reliably get to 100% before dying, then giving him Buster card performance is a good way to improve his damage output, especially when he can pull off a NP - B - B Brave chain
Level Up Skill Recommendation
Outside of his first skill, Eric's skills aren't that great even when maxed. His first skill is worth maxing since it gets even more potent after his strengthening quest and is a very useful for boss fights.
If you want to max his other skills, go for his Battle Continuation first. Four turn Guts for a 7 turn cooldown is decent and arguably much more useful than his pseudo-heal.
Suggested Servant Synergies
Hans Christian Andersen: Bloodaxe falls into a similar archetype as Caligula, where he gains power with a demerit. In this case, Bloodaxe loses HP with his NP, but gains a strong 30% attack buff scaling with overcharge that applies to his NP. Hans’ heal makes up for Bloodaxe’s HP loss in one turn, while granting Bloodaxe further survivability through a defense buff.
Shakespeare: Shakespeare’s Enchant skill further boosts Bloodaxe’s NP and possible Buster Card damage by a hefty 40%, stacking with Bloodaxe’s own 30% attack up for a strong round of burst. The future NP battery also helps Bloodaxe reach a full NP gauge, and offers more variety with CE’s.
Asterios: Asterios can stack debuffs with Bloodaxe, albeit Bloodaxe’s debuffs having a shorter duration. However, both have decent damage boosters on their own, and can fulfill a supportive berserker frontline.
