"I suppose I shall show you the prowess of a divine pharaoh... I shall permit your death by despair!"
The King of Kings graces F/GO as a Single Target Rider with strong self-buffs and utility. Aside from Charisma and useful debuffs on his NP, Ozymandias’s unique skill is a useful teamwide NP charge and buff success rate up.
Although he has identical HP to Drake, the Pharaoh rocks 600 more attack and far stronger staying power and offense: with Imperial Privilege and Charisma at max rank, he gets 58% Attack up and 40% Defense plus a 3000 HP heal on a 5 turn cooldown, making him one hell of a sturdy studded stat stick. His extra attack and Riding A+ boosted quick have five hits each, resulting in a tidy sum of stars and np charge. Combined with his slightly above-average NP gain, balanced QAABB deck and NP charge, Ozzy will have no problem throwing pyramids at people.
Non Caster NP Charge Skill
Ozymandias is one of the few non-Caster servants who can charge other servants’ NP gauge. This provides greater flexibility in team composition for farming, noticeably bringing Kaleidoscope users to 100% NP gauge. This serves as a strong indirect offensive buff depending on the teammates.
With a guaranteed Imperial Privilege, at max rank Ozymandias can buff himself for up to 58% attack and 40% defense, not to mention a 3000 HP heal on a 5 turn cooldown. Unlike Mana Burst, this buff also lasts for three turns and allows him to shrug off damage in addition to dealing considerable damage. His damage potential only gets even stronger with buffs from teammates as well.
Strong and Unique Offensive Utility
At max rank, Protection of the Sun God not only guarantees Imperial Privilege’s effects, but makes other chance-based buffs more reliable, like Da Vinci’s Natural Intelligence. This negates the unreliableness of otherwise overpowered buffs. Additionally, Ozymandias’ NP seal is great for delaying the enemy NP, buying time for another turn, while his defense down can provide allies with an additional 20% or more damage increase on an enemy.
No Hard Survival
Despite his fantastic 40% defense buff for self, Ozymandias lacks hard survival skills and probably will not survive an enemy NP.
Lacks Buff Diversity
Unlike the King of Heroes, Ozymandias does not have other offensive buffs outside of attack up. Thus, he requires support to reach a higher damage potential.
Reliant on Protection of the Sun God for Imperial Privilege
Imperial Privilege has strong values, but Ozymandias is reliant on Protection of the Sun God in order to consistently receive the buffs. The 1-turn Cooldown difference between Imperial Privilege and Protection of the Sun God means waiting an extra turn to use Imperial Privilege to guarantee the buff again.
Victor from the Moon: Adding critical damage takes advantage of Ozymandias’ Rider star weight and attack buffs for offense outside of his NP.
True Samadhi Fire: This completes the holy trinity of offensive buffs, making for an even stronger NP.
Halloween Princess: This CE not only allows Ozymandias to prepare his NP for the boss more consistently, but also stacks for multiplicative damage with his NP.
Kaleidoscope: Kaleidoscope allows Ozymandias to NP from turn 1, which can be useful for farming purposes.
Ozymandias is quite flexible in skill leveling depending on whether you’re using him as a support or primary damage dealer.
For a support focus, leveling Protection from Ra first not only makes chance-based servants more consistent, the cooldown on the NP charge is also invaluable. Charisma would be maxed next to provide even more team value.
For a primary damage dealer leveling Imperial Privilege first then Protection of the Sun God will be helpful because it provides the highest increase in damage and consistency, respectively. Alternatively, Charisma can be taken second if 60% chance of either effect for Imperial Privilege sounds good enough.
