Chaldea Combat Uniform
The Order Change ability on the Chaldea Combat uniform enables a staggering variety of strategies due to its ability to switch out a Servant from a backline. The other two skills are also very versatile as well, providing single target boss control and partywide Attack Buffs.
Although extremely versatile, Order Change becomes useless after losing three servants in a fight. Skill cooldowns, buff, and debuff durations remain static on a switched servant, which is a double edged sword.
Buff All Allies grants up to a 30% party wide attack buff, which is a notable increase in damage for offensive Noble Phantasms chains.
Gandr is a guaranteed, single target stun which can be used to stall out the boss for one turn. However, Gandr will not affect debuff immune enemies.
Order Change is the signature skill of the Mystic Code, with uses ranging from buff stacking, to preventing a crucial servant from being KO’d, and beyond, depending on the imagination of the user.
Notable Strategies and Users:
The effectiveness of this Mystic Code really depends on the player’s creativity and servant pool.
For on-demand backline buffs/saves, Medea Lily, David, and Waver are some of the notable examples. Medea Lily can be swapped in for an instant team heal, while David can jump in and shield the team. For the final wave, Waver can top off someone’s NP gauge while buffing them for strong burst damage against a boss.
A more difficult strategy to carry out is true buff stacking. Through a combination of tactical servant deaths and using Order Change and buff skills on cooldown when the buff target comes back in, it is possible to chain multiple buffs onto one servant in the backline. This can result in an absurdly large burst of damage if done correctly.
Only the attack buff scales well in value, while the other two skills’ benefits are level-independent. While the extra cooldown is useful, the high EXP cap and singular scaling effect make this Mystic Code decent to level up, but not necessary. However, given this Mystic Code’s general usefulness, it will probably be decently levelled up from constant passive usage anyway.
