Overview

  • The final battle against Durga accompanied by the enemy Master, Rani! Durga will start with a break bar restored, totaling at 3 HP bars (304k, 407k, 502k HP). Durga is an Archer Class Servant.
  • Various field effects will occur based on what happens during the battle.
  • At the very beginning, the Master will receive a buff that accelerates Mystic Code skill cooldown, making cooldown recover twice as quickly each turn (2 turns instead of 1).
  • After first command card selection, the party also will gain an Evade (1 time, 3 turns) buff, which also affects Servants in the back line.
  • The boss starts with unremovable 20k HP regen per turn, along with a buff that applies a stack of NP Damage +10% (5 turns) to Durga each turn. The NP damage buff itself is removable, although the HP regen and recurring effect that creates the NP damage buff each turn is not removable.
  • On first break, Durga gains a buff that nullifies all defensive Class Disadvantage on herself, which is unremovable. All Weak damage she takes becomes Neutral damage.
  • On second break, Durga will use a skill targeting a Servant with the highest NP Gauge on the field, removing all buffs from them, inflicting Target Focus on them, and draining 100% of their NP Gauge, while charging her own NP bar to MAX.
    • If the Servant with Target Focus dies, she will reapply the effect on another Servant, usually starting with the Servant with highest NP Gauge on the field. This reapplication also applies Target Focus, removes all buffs, but instead drains 30% of NP Gauge and then charges her own bar by 1.
  • Also at second break, the enemy Master will use a skill that gives unremovable Debuff Immune to Durga (3 times, 5 turns), while also applying a 1-turn unremovable Guts (50k HP recovery).
  • During her final HP bar, once a turn passes (at least one turn must pass due to her Guts effect), the enemy Master will use another skill that clears all debuffs from Durga, charges her NP to MAX, and applies Ignore Invincible (1 turn) and 5 stacks of NP Damage +20% (1 turn) to Durga.

Team Recommendations

  • Strong Single Target Lancers are the best option to deal with Durga. Even despite no longer having Offensive Class Advantage after her first break, Lancers still will resist her damage while being able to quickly take care of her first HP bar.
    • Given Durga's Divine trait, Enkidu makes for a great option and can potentially semi-solo this encounter (see video links).
  • Keeping NP Charge up on Supports is valuable especially on Durga's final HP bar, which helps redirect her buff removal + target focus skill away from the damage dealer to a Support instead. Her skill usually targets the Servant with the highest NP Gauge at the time of casting (start of each turn). For this reason, in at least one of the video examples, a support is given Append Skill 2 (lv1) just to ensure they have some NP charge and will become a favored target over the damage dealer, and the damage dealer uses their NP to make sure their own NP bar is empty.
  • NP Gauge and Damage Support is helpful as always for the damage dealer's Card type of choice. Koyanskaya, Oberon, Merlin, Waver, Altria Caster, Tamamo, and Skadi are all great choices.
