Overview
- Once again, Masters face Tlaloc / Tenochtitlan on their home turf, a lone Ruler (339k, 509k HP).
- The most dangerous aspect of this encounter is her Stun effect that occurs every turn and is unremovable. There are only three ways to avoid this effect:
- NPC Nemo being on the field prevents the Stun from occurring.
- All Servants with Levitating trait are immune to the Stun effect.
- Debuff Immunity can prevent the Stun from being applied in the first place. However, note that the Stun activates on the first turn before the party can even act.
- If NPC Nemo is taken, be wary that Tlaloc is much more likely to try to attack Nemo, making it harder to keep him alive
- Tlaloc also has passive 30k HP regen every turn, which is unremovable.
- On break, Tlaloc gains additional damage vs Stunned targets, and applies a delayed debuff specifically to Levitating Servants, where during the next 3 turns, every Servant affected has a 30% of inflicting Stun on all allies except themselves. Note this effect is separate and unaffected by Nemo's presence or the Levitating trait.
Team Recommendations
- NPC Nemo can be brought to this encounter if Masters do not have any strong Levitating trait damage dealers, or wish to use a damage dealer without this trait, to circumvent the Stun effect.
- Otherwise, Damage Dealers with Levitating trait are desirable since they will otherwise be stun locked for the majority of the battle.
- It is possible to run low rarity Servants with NPC Nemo to clear this encounter as well (see Video Links).
- Taunt Support can be helpful, since Tlaloc's attacks can be highly damaging, and her NP hits a single target. Keeping the damage dealer alive with a taunter can help improve the consistency of the encounter.
- Debuff Immune CEs can be used to prevent the Stun effect, if NPC Nemo is not used. Do note that these CEs last a limited number of times, however.
- NP Gauge / Damage Support of the damage dealer's card color of choice is useful as always. The usual suspects of Castoria, Koyanskaya, Skadi, Waver, Oberon, and Merlin are all effective choices. Be sure to equip Debuff Immunity on them if Nemo is not brought to the encounter, however, otherwise they end up stunned on the first turn.
