5 Star Servants

Tier A+
Savior Aesc is the 8th Anniversary Servant, an AoE Buster Caster Servant with powerful party support locked behind a unique starting cooldown skill. Her third skill starts with 5 turns before it can be used, which can be further reduced with Skill Cooldown reduction abilities, and when used can grant the party a whopping +50% NP Gauge, +30% NP Damage, and a Guts effect. Her own NP, in addition to dealing anti-Evil trait damage to all enemies, reduces the cooldown of her third skill based on overcharge level, debuffs DEF of enemies, and gives her a hit of invincibility. She also can fill her own NP Gauge with her first skill by up to 50% on demand, while granting the party up to 10% NP Gauge per turn, 10 Stars per turn, and a +20% NP damage buff. Finally, her third skill provides a unique ATK buff that starts at 20% and can go up to 60% based on how low the member's HP is, while providing 10 Stars per turn if the entire party's HP is full. Combined, she makes for one of the supports with the highest potential ceiling, although she can be somewhat restrictive to set up effectively due to requiring cooldown reduction support. Additionally, as a damage dealer she is somewhat mediocre, with the exception of when fighting enemies of Evil alignment since she deals bonus damage. Overall, she is a powerful support in the right setups, and works well with proper allies or in longer encounters where her damage-based offensive buffs can come into play. Her damage buffs are unrelated to Card color, so she can slot in nearly any party to provide a delayed but powerful payoff.

Tier List Movements

5 Star Servants

Tier C+ > B

Bradamante's third skill gets an upgrade, increasing the targetable NP charge effect from 10-20% up to 20-30%, which is already a great upgrade by itself. Additionally, it also adds two self-buffs for Bradamante, giving her anti-Earth attribute damage and increased NP Gain for 3 turns and modest values. With this upgrade, Bradamante's supportive and self NP charge capacity are improved, as well as carving a decently common anti Earth attribute niche for herself, greatly improving her usability.

Tier B > A

Minamoto-no-Raikou gets an upgrade to her Mana Burst (2nd) skill. It lengthens the duration of the buff from 1 turn to 3 turns, and adds the ever coveted 30% NP charge effect for herself. These two buffs together combined enable Raikou to now 3-turn Buster Loop farm with double Koyanskaya / Oberon setups, while having full Buster buffs up the whole time. Given her Berserker typing and her relatvely common anti-Demonic and anti-Heaven or Earth attribute damage bonus, she now joins the ranks among the Servants capable of omni-farming as an excellent option herself.

Tier B > B+

Karna gets an upgrade to his NP charge (3rd) skill with his latest Rank Up from Part 16. The most notable change is that his NP charge increases in value from 25% up to 30%, putting him at the necessary threshold for double Koyanskaya / Oberon looping, greatly improving his usability in farming. In addition, the value of all his Crit related effects improves slightly, and he also gains a sizable 20-40 Critical Stars on demand, further improving his synergy with any Buster Crit Supports such as Koyanskaya and Merlin.

Tier B > B+

Anastasia gets an upgrade to her self NP charge skill, making it stun now target all enemies instead of just a single one. Addiitonally, it indirectly buffs her damage now by decreasing Arts Resist for all enemies for 3 turns. This improves both her offensive performance and her ability to provide damage mitigation or stalling support in the form of her stun.

Tier D+ > D+

Abigail Summer's second skill upgrade is a rather straightforward self Buster buff for 3 turns of up to 30% value. It's a simple, solid damage buff that helps improve her offensive performance, although perhaps not quite enough to justify putting her in the party over other alternatives.

Tier A > A

Altria Pendragon's swimsuit Archer form gets a helpful upgrade to her first skill, adding the ever useful self NP charge of up to 30%, while also granting her three turns of Sure Hit, making sure that she can deal damage even to enemies with Evade active. Her innate NP gain is already quite impressive, and this upgrade will help ensure that she can more quickly get her NP train going.

4 Star Servants

Tier B > A

Altria Pendragon Alter's Mana Burst skill gets an upgrade with the 8th Anniversary Rank Up series. Now the Buster buff lasts for 3 times, 3 turns, instead of 1 turn. In addition, she now gains 10% NP Gauge when attacking with Buster Cards for 3 times, 3 turns, and also gains 3 turns of Ignore Invincibility. Combined with her 2nd skill's 20% NP charge upgrade and her NP's innate base refund of at least 10%, she now has much better ways of filling her NP Gauge, and better potential sustained damage outside of a single burst turn, plus additional utility.

Tier B > B

Okita J Souji's third skill gets an upgrade, giving her the coveted self NP charge of up to 30%. She also gains a 3-turn NP Gain buff of up to 30%, providing much more stability to her looping capability for farming. However, the buffs do not do much to address her self-stun demerit on her NP, so she doesn't quite make a great farmer without having a Debuff Immunity support available.

Tier C+ > C+

Kiyohime's summer form gets a much needed upgrade to her first skill, which was otherwise somewhat of a dead skill. Now, in addition to the crit rate debuff on enemies, it charges her own NP Gauge by 20%, and inflicts burn for 5 turns on all enemies. In addition, it gives her the ability to apply the Spreading Fire (burn damage up) debuff whenever normal attacking for 5 turns, further amplifying burn damage by 50% per hit. The most meaningful change is her NP charge, which makes it much easier to access her NP and deal large bursts of damage, whereas the burn changes are more of a novelty with niche use cases.

Kiyohime (Lancer): C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.55) -

Tier C+ > C+

Gawain's upgrade is for his NP, increasing its AoE Buster damage by the standard +100% across the board at all levels. Additionally, his NP gets powerups when in a Sunlight field, where he gets both Buster Crit Damage and Buster Star Gather buffs for 3 turns if the field is sunny. Overall, the upgrade is a helpful boost to his damage along with a lore-friendly boost to his Buster Crit performance after NP turns.

1-3 Star Servants

Tier C+ > C+

Jaguar Warrior gets an upgrade to her first skill, reducing its cooldown by a whole 3 turns(!). Additionally, it now provides 10-30 Critical Stars on demand, and gives her the ability to change the battlefield type to Forest for 3 turns. This now allows her to guarantee all three effects of her third skill if desired, which are Crit-related effects that synergize well with her new Stars on demand. Overall, the upgrade is a welcome boost to her ease of usability.

Jaguar Warrior: C+ -> C+ (Avg Score: 7.33) -

Tier B+ > B+

William Tell's 2nd skill gets an upgrade, giving him slightly better access to his anti-Evade special ATK multiplier. Essentially, if an enemy has Evade, or ever gains Evade over the course of the next 5 turns, his anti-Evade bonus damage will be valid for up to an extra 3 turns starting from when he casts his buff / when Evade is first active (whichever is later). This allows him to capitalize on bonus damage vs Evade for multiple turns, even against an enemy who may only have had Evade up for a single turn. Overall this is a nice change, although in most scenarios it can still be uncommon to encounter.

William Tell: B+ -> B+ (Avg Score: 8.22) -

[NorseFTX - B+][WhiteRabbit - B+][Meliran - B][Rathilal - B+]

Tier B > B

Hans' latest upgrade improves his first skill, increasing the value of the party Crit Damage buff from 10-40% up to 20-50%. Additionally, now he provides varied buffs for 3 turns depending on where his allies lie on the Good - Evil alignment axis. He himself and all Balanced allies gain an NP Gain buff; Good allies have a Star Drop Rate buff; Evil allies have an NP Damage buff; any other alignments get a further Crit Damage buff.

1
Hans Christian Andersen: B -> B (Avg Score: 8.11) -
2
[NorseFTX - B+][WhiteRabbit - B][Meliran - B][Rathilal - B]

Tier B > B

Mandricardo getst an upgrade to his Brink Shot skill, changing the duration of the ATK/Crit buffs and the self Death effect to last until the end of the turn instead of after a single attack, giving him more than just a single big crit hit or NP. However, the death demerit does still remain and will occur at the end of his turn, and the actual values of his buffs also remain unchanged, so this buff is more of a quality of life change for him rather than making substantial changes to his performance ceiling.
