Boss Statistics

Overview

  • Fight against the paladins of Charlemagne (and some bonus companions) in the CBC 2026 Challenge Quest!
  • This quest features a total of 5 break bar enemies, each with 2 HP bars (128-184k during first HP bar, and 192-276k HP during second HP bar), with 1 Lancer, 2 Sabers, 1 Foreigner, and 1 Rider.
  • Only 3 enemies will be on field at once. However, at the end of the 4th turn and again every ~5 turns, a random Servant on the front line will swap with the backline if a backline still remains.
  • All enemies also only use a single target Extra Attack as their charge move during their 1st HP bar. After break, they will instead use their actual Noble Phantasm.
  • Don Quixote, Charlemagne, and Yang Guifei start on the field. Each of them has various buffs they provide to their allies while they are on the field.
    • Don Quixote: Whenever hit by NP, they greatly debuff ATK for the attacker. He also gives Yang Guifei Damage Resist +70% and Charlemagne Crit Rate +25% while on the field.
      • On break, he gets 3-time Guts that recovers 30% of his HP, and gains additional ATK based on lower HP remaining.
    • Charlemagne: Whenever hitting with Crits, they remove 3 buffs from the target. He also gives Yang Guifei Damage Resist +70% and Don Quixote DEF +40% while on the field. He is probably the prime candidate for the first enemy Masters should target, since he does not gain damage resistance himself.
      • On break, he will buff his Crit Damage and Buster performance.
    • Yang Guifei: Each turn, she fills NP Gauge for all her allies by 2 and clears all debuffs. She also gives all allies except herself Mental Debuff Resist +100%, and gives ATK +20% for Don Quixote/Charlemagne, and ATK +30% for Roland while she is on the field.
      • On break, she will give herself permanent Debuff Immunity and a small 1k Damage Cut.
    • Roland: Whenever he attacks, he will inflict NP Seal on the target and drain their HP by 5000 if the debuff succeeds. He also gives Charlemagne Taunt, and increases Don Quixote's DEF by 20% while on the field.
      • On break, he debuffs the party's DEF -20% and NP Gain -50%.
    • Astolfo: Astolfo starts with a Quick +50% buff, and will restore 20,000 HP for Don Quixote and Charlemagne while on the field.
      • On break, Astolfo applies a buff such that when they have no Evade buff active, they gain 3 NP charge each turn and has decreased NP Strength -95% while they do not have Evade.

Team Recommendations

  • AoE Damage Dealers are generally preferred for this battle due to multiple bosses being present on field at once. Class Advantage options such as Saber, Berserker, or Extra Classes including Foreigner, Ruler, Avenger, or Moon Cancer are ideal due to having offensive Class Advantage vs. at least one of the bosses.
    • Note that male Servants in general will also have a damage boost during this event.
    • Bazett is also an option to help reduce the number of turns required to clear, since she can break through multiple Guts stacks from Don Quixote in a single turn (see video links).
  • Debuff Clear or Debuff Immune Support is one way to circumvent the NP Seal effect that Roland can inflict with normal attacks. Roland will appear after at least one front line Servant is defeated or if reaching the end of turn 4.
  • Stun Support is an alternative, where Masters can opt to inflict Stun on Roland on the same turn that he appears so that he can be defeated without letting him land a normal attack. The Mystic Code: Chaldea Combat Uniform comes with both Order Change and a stun via Gandr, so it is an alternative option to taking a Servant with stun capabilities.
  • NP Gauge and Damage Support is ever useful to help the damage dealer defeat the bosses more quickly. The usual suspects including Castoria, Lady Avalon, Skadi/Skadi Ruler, Merlin, Koyanskaya, Oberon, Waver, or Reines all work well for their respective Card types.
  • This event lacks an Event Damage CE, so CE options are more flexible. Masters can elect to equip damage boosting CEs such as The Black Grail on the damage dealer or other hybrid NP Gauge / damage buff CEs.
