Boss Statistics

Overview

  • An encounter where Masters must face all employees of the Ehangwen, and after the employees are defeated, the proprietress herself makes an appearance.
  • The first six enemies (3 will be on screen at a time) are Saber (208k), Saber (616k), Archer (204k), Saber (192k), Lancer (205k), and Rider (193k). After these first six are defeated, a break bar Ruler (372k, 422k HP) appears.
  • Each of the enemies has a buff that affects all of their allies while on the field. Masters generally want to get rid of whichever enemies are closest to their NP as quickly as possible:
    • Lancelot (Saber): Master's party's DEF -30%. He will likely be the first one off the field since he also has perma-Taunt.
    • Gawain: He starts with 80% NP and Crit Damage resist for 3 turns, and also 50% resist against any enemies he lent an item to. He will "lend" an item to a party member that he attacks every turn. The lent item provides Damage Resist against either NP +80% (1 time, 3 turns), Crits +50% (2 times, 3 turns), or all attacks +20% (3 times, 3 turns). If all the uses of any of these buffs are consumed, the item will break.
      • When the enemy turn starts, if any party members have broken items, the entire enemy party gains an unremovable Damage +30% buff for 3 turns.
      • Since he has the highest HP pool and extremely high NP damage and Crit damage resist initially, he is the most difficult to remove from the field. With high enough (non Crit) Card damage, however, it can be possible to defeat him quickly.
    • Tristan: Enemies' ATK +20%, also gains extra 1 NP per turn for himself. He can ready his NP very quickly if left alone, so Masters may wish to deal with him quickly if possible.
    • Gareth: Ignore Invincible for all enemies. Also debuffs own ATK by 50%.
    • Percival: ATK +20% and Crit Damage +30% for all enemies.
    • Mordred (Rider): Debuff Immune and DEF +30% for all enemies.
  • After all six initial enemies are defeated, Altria Pendragon (Ruler) appears on the field. She has a permanent passive that allows her to remove 1 defensive buff each time she attacks. If Masters are trying to run hard defensive options, if possible, they should layer up a second buff (such as a DEF up buff) to cover the hard defense and avoid having it get removed.
  • Every 2 turns, she will use a Summer Blessing, which is one of the buffs from the initial six employees of the Ehangwen.
    • Note that Gawain's buff allows her to lend items too, which can also break. She will punish the party the same way Gawain does with a small Damage +30% buff to herself if the party breaks items. However, unlike Gawain, she will thankfully not come with the NP and Crit Damage Resistance +80% buff for 3 turns.
  • On break, all active Summer Blessings and lent items are removed, and she clears all her own debuffs.
  • During her 2nd HP bar, every 2 turns she instead uses a Midsummer Blessing, which for the most part is identical to the 1st HP bar, with one exception:
    • She now can gain Gareth's buff, but in addition to Ignore Invincible and self ATK -50%, she can now act 5 times per turn instead of 3 times per turn.

Team Recommendations

  • This battle can technically be semi-solo'd by a strong AoE Servant (see video links).
  • Berserker, Avenger, or Assassin AoE Damage Dealers are probably the best choice for this battle, since they have at least neutral or offensive advantage against all enemies. Other Extra Classes are also a decent choice.
    • All enemies are Knights of the Round trait, making Morgan an excellent choice for dealing with the employees of the Ehangwen.
    • Alternatively, nearly all enemies except the final boss (Altria Ruler) are Earth Attribute, making Servants with bonus damage vs Earth particularly decent options, such as Ibuki-Douji (Berserker).
  • An Avenger ST Damage Dealer in the backline can also be a good option to deal with the Ruler-Class boss once the rest of the waves are dealt with. Keeping them in the backline is to make sure they are not killed too early before the boss appears.
  • NP Gauge and Damage Support is helpful as always, especially for this battle since it is very viable to burst the initial waves of enemies down to reveal the final boss. The usual suspects, Castoria, Koyanskaya, Oberon, Skadi/Ruler, Merlin, Reines, and Waver all work well.
  • Event CE, Superb Vistas, Sublime Artistry, is the best choice to run on the primary damage dealer to maximize their ability to quickly take down the enemy waves. Ideally, this CE should be max limit-broken (requires 5 copies) to get the +200% damage bonus.
