Overview

  • Face off against the cafe staff in the Dancing Dragon Castle challenge quest! This battle features a single wave with four enemies: a break bar Alter Ego (203k, 250k, 304k), break bar Archer (181k, 220k), Caster (255k), and a backline break bar Assassin (266k, 320k).
  • Certain enemies have beneficial effects to the Master's party while they are alive, but upon death, the effects instead become debuffs.
    • Hibiki & Chikagi buff Quick performance for the Master's party while alive, but after death Quick gets a -50% reduction for the party.
    • Daikokuten buffs Arts performance while alive, and on death Arts gets a -50% reduction for the party.
    • First Hassan (who is in the backline) will buff Buster performance when he appears on field, and on death Buster gets a -50% reduction for the party.
  • Additionally, certain bosses also offer Customer Service, which are special effects that activate every time the Master's party uses a skill.
    • Asagami Fujino will give the entire party 5% NP charge on first skill use, but also charges a random enemy's NP bar by 1 and gives that enemy a random one of either Damage Cut, ATK Up, or 1 debuff clear.
      • After break, Fujino instead can use her Customer Service effect up to 3 times per turn. This means Masters can get the party up to NP Gauge +15% from her in a single turn, which can be used to set up an NP more quickly!
    • Hibiki & Chikagi start providing customer service after first break, where she gives a random enemy a minor ATK and DEF buff. Unfortunately, her customer service does not benefit the Master's party.
  • Additionally, each of the bosses starts with a different buff.
    • Hibiki & Chikagi: Quick Res +50%, Crit Rate +20%, when critting, gains +1 NP charge.
      • 1st break: Buff Removal Res +100% (5 turns).
      • 2nd break: Crit Rate +100% (3 times, 5 turns), 50k HP regen for the enemy party (5 turns).
    • Asagami Fujino: DEF +40% (5 turns, removable).
      • Break: Debuff Res +100% (5 turns), DEF +40% for party (5 turns, removable).
    • Daikokuten: Arts Res +50%, start with MAX NP Gauge.
    • First Hassan: Buster Res +50%, attacks have 10% chance of Instant Death.
      • Break: Instant Death rate +50% (5 turns), NP Gauge +1 each turn (5 turns).
  • Note that 3 of the 4 enemies have a very short 3-bar NP charge, so they will very quickly gain access to their NP! This is especially accelerated if Masters use skills on their turn, because Asagami Fujino's Customer Service effect will also charge the gauge of a random ally each time.

Team Recommendations

  • Buster or Quick AoE Damage Dealers are probably the best choice for this battle, since the Arts buff is tied to Daikokuten, who only has a single HP bar and will very likely be defeated first before First Hassan comes in from the backline, leading to an unremovable -50% Arts debuff for the party. However, with enough damage, an Arts damage dealer can still work.
    • Due to the Class spread of the enemies (Alter Ego, Archer, Caster, Assassin), the best choice for offensive advantage against all enemies is Berserker. However, other options can still work (Lancer, Caster, or other neutral options).
  • Taunt Support is hugely helpful in this battle since many of the bosses will either have highly damaging Crits, or in the case of Fujino and First Hassan, have powerful single target NPs. Having a Target Focus / Taunt Servant or CE equipped will help redirect damage away from the damage dealer.
  • Evade and Invincibility Support is also helpful if enemies end up being able to fire off an NP. Notably, Hibiki & Chikagi and Daikokuten (who starts with a full NP Gauge) both have AoE NPs, so having some type of damage mitigation for the entire party will make the battle much smoother.
  • CE Selection is flexible since there is no Event Damage CE. The Black Grail is a good option to place on the damage dealer if available.
  • NP Gauge and Damage Support is helpful as usual, since the battle is very much a race against the enemies' short 3-bar NP gauges. The usual suspects, Castoria, Koyanskaya, Oberon, Skadi/Ruler, Merlin, Reines, and Waver all work well. Despite being an Arts Support, Castoria is still a huge benefit to the party due to her Anti-Enforcement DEF NP as well as her powerful party NP charge skills.
