Quest Overview

Each time Fergus uses his NP, the field will change, rotating between:

Decayed Earth -> Bottom of the Sea -> Pyroclastic Bullets -> Heavenly Gospel -> Calm Earth -> Decayed Earth (repeats)

Each field has different effects on the party and Fergus:

Decayed Earth:
- Decrease party's NP Gauge by 30% each turn.
- The Essence of the Battlefield - Wastelands: Increase Fergus's ATK by 30%.
Bottom of the Sea:
- Inflict Nullify Buff on all party members including backline [Unremovable].
- The Essence of the Battlefield - Ocean Floor: Apply 30% Chance to Evade to self.
Pyroclastic Bullets:
- Inflict 1500 flat damage each turn on all party members including backline [Unremovable].
- The Essence of the Battlefield - Lava: When Fergus attacks, inflict Burn (5 turns, 500 dmg) on the enemy.
Heavenly Gospel:
- Inflict NP Seal on all party members including backline [Unremovable].
- The Essence of the Battlefield - High Skies: Restore own HP by 100,000 each turn [Unremovable].
Calm Earth:
- No effects.

Increase Mental Debuff Resist by 50%. Decrease own NP Strength by 20% (x4 stacks). At 70%, 50%, and 30% HP: "You've learnt your Celts!": Remove one NP Strength debuff stack from self. Upon using NP: The Rotation Speed of the Rainbow Sword is Increasing...: Remove one NP Strength debuff stack from self. Fergus mac Roich Break effects depend on whether Fergus has any NP Strength debuff stacks remaining on break. If at least 1 NP Strength debuff stack remains: "Hahaha, time for some adjustments": Remove all NP Strength debuffs from self. Increase own NP Gauge to MAX. Remove any NP Seal debuffs from self. Apply Ignore Invincible to self (1 turn). Increase own NP Strength by 20% (1 turn). Apply Damage Cut by 1,000,000 to self (7 times) [Unremovable]. If no NP Strength debuff stacks remain: "Witness the true power of the Rainbow Sword!": Increase own NP Gauge to MAX. Remove any NP Seal debuffs from self.
