Noble Phantasm

“Requesting navigation support! If you believe in miracles…adventure knows no bounds! We’ll deliver it safely! I bear the Nautilus of the Holy Night!”
The beloved captain of the Shadow Border, Nemo himself, dons the role of Santa as the welfare Servant of the Christmas 2025 event! Nemo’s Santa form is still Rider-Class much like his original self. However, his Arts NP hits all enemies. He also provides a festive array of buffs for all accompanying party members, in addition to a few utility effects in his kit.
Nemo (Santa)’s first skill, Driver of the Holy Night A, provides offensive buffs to all allies, including NP Damage, Crit Damage, and ATK for a single turn, and a further ATK buff that lasts 3 turns for any Servants that have the “Group Servant” trait. His second skill, Undaunted Deliverer B+, is the one skill he has that only targets himself. It gives him a small Guts that lasts 1 time across 3 turns, along with Debuff Immunity and +10% NP Gauge every turn for 3 turns each. Finally, Nameless Saint EX wraps up his skill set with a self-targeted 3-turn Arts buff, and two effects that benefit the entire party: a 1-time, 3-turn Evade, and flat 10% NP Gauge to all allies. Within his skills alone, Nemo (Santa) provides very impressive offensive and defensive buffs to the party, albeit his offensive buffs for the most part only last for a single turn.
His Arts NP, Holy Run, Nautilus, hits all enemies while dealing bonus damage to Evil alignment, and also inflicts a turn of Skill Seal on enemies. His NP has enough hit counts to put him as a looping candidate when supported by premiere Arts support such as Altria Caster, and his looping is only further stabilized by the 10% NP charge per turn obtained from his second skill. Being a welfare, his damage also is respectable, being among the highest in his niche as an AoE Arts Rider.
Overall, Nemo (Santa) functions as an excellent free-to-play Arts looper of the Rider Class, of which there are relatively few competitors. His damage is among the highest in the role, and is only further bolstered in the presence of Evil-alignment enemies. In addition, he provides many different offensive buff types to the party, and also has the coveted AoE Evade, giving the entire party access to a hard defensive option in a pinch. With his relative ease of looping due to his NP charge per turn and small party NP charge skills, he slots in comfortably in almost any lineup and works well in multi-core setups as well. Masters had better watch out, and better not pout, Nemo Santa and his loyal crew are coming to town!
🟢 Strengths
Great Party Support Coverage
Nemo (Santa) provides both offensive and defensive support to the entire party. Offensively, he gives NP Damage and ATK buffs, and also provides Crit damage buffs. Defensively, he provides a 1-hit Evade to the party. Additionally, he also can give 10% NP Gauge to the party on demand, making him an excellent slot in for almost any team. As a side note, unfortunately, Nemo himself does not count as a “Group Servant” and does not benefit from the additional ATK buff from his first skill.
Arts Looping Anti-Evil niche
As a welfare Servant, Nemo (Santa) deals respectable damage with his NP, and additionally gets bonus damage when against Evil alignment enemies. With decent hit counts on his NP and a 10% NP charge-per-turn skill in his kit, he is among the more consistent Arts loopers in the AoE Rider role.
🔴 Weaknesses
Many Offensive Buffs are Single Turn
Despite the plethora of buffs Nemo provides, the majority of them (NP Damage, Crit, and the non trait-restricted ATK buffs) only last a single turn. This means that in a farming context, he cannot benefit from his own buffs outside of a single turn, making it necessary to hold off on using this buff and saving it for the chunkiest wave in the farming rotation. In other contexts such as challenge quests, this makes his first skill much less consistent and more burst-oriented.
Level Up Skill Recommendations
In the context of farming, the most important skill to level is his third since it most directly impacts his farming and looping performance. However, when used as an offensive support for increasing burst damage, Masters may wish to prioritize his first skill instead. The suggested skill leveling order is 3 >= 1 > 2.
- Driver of the Holy Night A – This skill is his primary party offensive support skill, will all four effects (NP Damage, Crit Damage, ATK, and Group Servant ATK) improving with level. This makes this skill extremely worthwhile to invest in, especially if Nemo Santa is used as an off-support that provides additional offensive power for a burst of damage. However, if planning to use Nemo in farming situations, his third skill can be prioritized.
- Undaunted Deliverer B+ – Being his main defensive Guts skill, most of this skill’s effects do not scale with level. The only values that change are the amount of HP recovered when his Guts activates. That being said, this skill can still be useful to level to reduce its cooldown. This skill can be left for last.
- Nameless Saint EX – Although there is only one effect of this skill that scales with level, being the Arts buff, it is the most important for his looping performance. Additionally, it lasts 3 turns, unlike the effects of his first skill, so its benefits will be felt across all three farming waves. This skill can be prioritized if mostly using Nemo for farming. If Masters instead wish to maximize his burst damage support, his first skill can be prioritized instead.
🖼️ Craft Essence Recommendations
Nemo (Santa) will in most cases be used as an AoE Arts farmer, so CEs that support this role, such as Starting NP Gauge, Arts Effectiveness, ATK, and NP Damage are the most suitable for him in this situation.
- Kaleidoscope / Winter Crystal / The Imaginary Element – These CEs provide a pure NP Gauge boost and help Nemo (Santa) use his NP more quickly. Using a non-MLB copy of Kaleidoscope, Nemo Santa can immediately NP if he has his 2nd Append Skill at level 1, plus his third skill. Alternatively, MLB copies of either Winter Crystal or The Imaginary Element are sufficient with 2nd Append Skill level 6 and his third skill.
- Ocean Flier / Mission Start / Cradle Song / Battle Olympia / Grand Puppeteer / Chaldea Anniversary / Dive to Blue / Painting Summer / Star’s Day Off / Golden Sumo: Boulder Tournament / Holy Night Supper – These are hybrid Starting NP Gauge CEs that also provide an offensive boost of either Arts, ATK, or NP Damage. Nemo (Santa) does already have all three flavors of offensive buffs innately, so all three are more or less interchangeable.
- The Black Grail / Inverted Rain of Mud / Heaven's Feel – These are CEs that provide the highest NP Damage boost available for Nemo (Santa). If a Black Grail is used with Nemo (Santa), however, he will need additional support to fill his NP Gauge.
