“How long am I going to keep doing this? Of course,~eternally~!”
After a 3 year period without an Eli for Halloween, Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella) comes storming back in her pumpkin… erm, carriage… with a vengeance! As a Rider-Class Single Target Buster welfare Servant, she serves as a powerful unit who becomes one of the most powerful if properly supported.
Cinder Eli’s main highlight is Glass Cinderella EX’s 30% charge on a 4-turn cooldown. Not only is this a nice charge, but it enables her to cast 3 Noble Phantasms of increasing strength over 3 turns when supported with double Koyanskaya and Oberon. Even without that, she has a strong damage niche against Wild Beast enemies through Red Hood Slicer A and select Fairy Tale Servants through her Noble Phantasm, Fairy Tale Erzsebet. With Snow White Princess B she also has a surprising amount of durability.
Unfortunately, Cinder Eli has a number of demerits on her skills which can become troublesome on longer fights or when misclicked. She also becomes a one-hit wonder if not properly supported due to relatively low hit counts for NP gain. Unfortunately, she also lacks the Critical capacity which could truly make her stand out compared to other riders.
Cinder Eli is an excellent choice for all Masters, and for those with a Koyanskaya and Oberon, one of the top choices for Single Target Riders in the game. Just make sure you use her skills before midnight!
ℹ️ Gameplay Tips
🟢 Strengths
“Looping”
Very few Servants have the capacity to hit a Single Target three times in a row with a Noble Phantasm regardless of card draws. Cinder Eli is one of them. Thanks to her 30% charge, she can begin with any 50% CE and maxed append skill 2, charge and fire, then accept double Koyanskaya charges and fire, and then recast the 30% and accept Oberon’s 70% charge and fire again. This can be extremely helpful against 2-break bar Caster bosses.
Niches
Cinder Eli gains a powermod bonus against Wild Beast enemies. Unfortunately there are not many Wild Beast bosses in the game, although if the trait is available, the buff lasts 3 turns which gives her a longer lasting damage bonus. Additionally, she provides any Fairy Tale Servants including herself with an ATK buff every time she uses her Noble Phantasm, which allows her to provide offensive support to the party if allies are selected carefully.
Durability
Cinder Eli has a decent amount of HP for a 4-star, and also has an on-demand Invincibility. She will be tougher than most Elis to remove from the battlefield.
🔴 Weaknesses
Demerits
Every skill of Cinder Eli’s has a demerit associated with it. Her first, Snow White Princess B, gives her a poison debuff. Her second, Red Hood Slicer, gives her a small defense down. These are minor debuffs compared to Glass Cinderella’s Skill Seal on herself. Masters need to be careful with skill usage based on the battle.
Support Reliant
As nice as some of the skills in Cinder Eli’s kit are, they function to get her one big hit against an enemy. She needs proper supports, namely two Koyanskayas and an Oberon, to break through the average threshold and become something extraordinary. Her low hit counts and Buster Noble Phantasm means she won’t be refunding much of her gauge anytime soon.
Poor Criticals
Cinder Eli has a starbomb skill and is a Rider so she can absorb Critical stars easily. However, she has nothing to support her Critical hits on her own.
Level Up Skill Recommendations
Cinder Eli’s skills revolve around her loop potential. A typical Master will have her second append skill maxed and a 50% charge CE, and cast Red Hood Slicer and Glass Cinderella turn 1 in that order. Double Koyanskaya will reduce both skills to 0 turn cooldown turn 2, but only Red Hood Slicer should be cast. Turn 3, Oberon gives 70% charge and Cinder Eli uses the third skill to max out her gauge. In more drawn out fights, the first skill will become crucial as well, giving her a long invincible buff with very little cooldown. Suggested order is 3, 2, 1.
- Snow White Princess B gives Cinder Eli a 3-time 3-turn invincibility and a buff to her NP gain rate at the cost of a poison demerit. This skill mainly sees use for its invincibility, where it is cast turn 1 to protect her against break bar boss’ counters. This skill should be leveled last, and to level 6 or higher for cooldown reduction.
- Red Hood Slicer A is Cinder Eli’s primary steroid, giving her a boost to Buster for three turns and a powermod against Wild Beast enemies, in exchange for a small defense down demerit. This skill must be cast before skill 3 or she cannot cast it that turn. If using a loop setup, level this to max and second. Without a loop setup it can be leveled safely to 6 or above if missing materials.
- Glass Cinderella EX is Cinder Eli’s charge skill and starbomb at the cost of sealing all other skills. While it needs to be cast last on the turn, it is the most important skill as it allows her to function in loop setups. This should be leveled first and to max in all situations to take advantage of the cooldown.
🖼️ Craft Essence Recommendations
If looping, Cinder Eli requires 70% starting gauge, making Mixed Starting Gauge / Damage CEs most effective. If not looping, she can do well with any Starting Gauge CE. Alternatively, if one wants her to be a one hit wonder, NP Damage Up CEs are quite effective.
- Aerial Drive / Holy Night Supper / Golden Sumo: Boulder Tournament / Partake with the King: With a 50% starting charge and a maxed append 2 skill, Cinder Eli can cast 3 noble phantasms in 3 turns. Noble Phantasm damage is preferred due to Oberon’s NP boost effect.
- Kaleidoscope / The Imaginary Element / Dragon’s Meridian: Quick access to Noble Phantasms can lead to quick victories.
- The Black Grail: Like all damage dealing Servants, if one can give her enough charge from supports then a Black Grail gives her a huge damage boost.
