The original/starting Mystic Code comes with some powerful, straightforward and highly effective skills that are usable in most circumstances.Masters will typically finish leveling this Mystic Code first, and its great scaling will make sure those Masters are suitably rewarded with some easy to use skills that prove especially useful early on.

Each of the provided skills work very well at supporting one powerful Servant, ensuring he or she survives most maps through First Aid and Emergency Evade, while Instant Enhancement provides a very sizeable attack boost to kill enemies with a single Noble Phantasm.

Skills Explanation:

  • First Aid has the lowest cooldown of any Mystic Code skill yet at  a low 7 turns at max level. Masters should not hesitate to use it on weakened, but important servants right away.  This usually allows them to take an extra 1-2 hits, depending on the class match-up.

  • Instant Enhancement grants an up to 50% bonus attack boost, allowing for decisive one-turn bursts of damage. People tend to save this for the final wave in conjunction with a Noble Phantasm to oneshot a boss or wave, although sometimes it can be used to push for lethal damage on a straggling enemy before it does too much damage.

  • Emergency Evade is invaluable for avoiding boss Noble Phantasms, or buying one last turn of actions. Do note that Servants/bosses with Sure Hit or Invincibility Pierce (like Francis Drake or Nikola Tesla) can bypass this buff.

Notable Strategies and Users:

This Mystic Code works in all kinds of situations, from difficult challenges to farming hands. It can provide a good measure of comfort to Masters accustomed to its use before they move on to more advanced Mystic Codes with higher strategic potential. As mentioned previously, this Mystic Code most excels at keeping one (often borrowed) Servant alive for an impressive amount of time while they still have allies around them.

Some Servants benefit dis-proportionally from Instant Enhancement. Single target burst Servants that have powerful Noble Phantasms or high Critical Damage output that come with strong (Buster/Arts or Quick) Card Performance buff (or the more rare Noble Phantasm damage buff) will find that it stacks multiplicatively. Essentially, they receive an even higher boost to their damage. Examples include Scathach, Okita Souji, or Altria Pendragon (Lancer Alter), who all lack a strong Attack buff. Berserker Servants also profit, as their Mad Enhancement typically scales well as well.

For farming situations, servants who can charge their Noble Phantasm quickly with a strong scaling AoE Noble Phantasm can use the attack buff to clear higher health enemies. Alternatively, servants who can utilize Buster Brave chains can also benefit from the extra damage as they could save their Noble Phantasm for another enemy. Notable servants who fit this description include Francis Drake, Mordred, or Sakata Kintoki.

Leveling Value:

In addition to the standard cooldown 1 turn reduction at level 6 and 10, Instant Enhancement scales from a 30 to a 50% attack buff, while First Aid scales from healing 1000 HP to 3000 HP. As this Mystic Code has the lowest EXP cap in addition to its fantastic versatility, it’s very easy and worth it to level up completely.  As the default Mystic Code, most Masters will do so automatically.
